The Shitstorm Starter well, having traveled around the world, I've come to realize that it doesn't matter where you go, people are fairly similar all over. Generally speaking, of course. What it seems like you fail to realize is, contrary to popular belief, not all Texans are shit-kicking, Yeehaw yelling, cousin kissing, country bumpkins lol... but youre right in a way, because nobody is exactly the same anywhere, so ill give you that...
@The Shitstorm Starter i agree about Austin... well on its way to being the next american shithole... i grew up in the hill country, personally... but that doesnt mean that im not somewhat cultured and educated... but i digress... overall, i just mean to say, you dont know my family, so how do you know theyre not in the least bit similar, mr. Random guy on the internet?
Joey has the natural talent of being a good story teller. Some people are just interesting to listen to, its because they which words to use, how to say the words, and how to use body language and we subconsciously process all that. Hes the most interesting man in the world
Because it sounds like a wise sage warning the young knight about the dragons and evil sorcerers and shit he will encounter on his quest. It's like "Now heed my words, young Arthur Pendragon...."
Let's be honest we all love when Joey calls Joe by his full name, when he names the street and house number and laughs. I watch his stories before sleep
The day Joey Diaz dies well be the saddest day in history Because you know that mothafucka got stories he hasn't told yet that he's taking with him to the grave
I love watching how people like Joe in this case gets to be the one talking in the circle about something they love and they turn happier when they start asking questions, every human being has that, talk about something that someone has emotion for and he will like you and the situation
Chris Rock spin off but HBO makes it so it kinda dark lol , trilogy call it " Diaz" or Ehh Joey. First season mix it up about middle part of crime spree , second season chokd hood how it connects with 1 season. It be mix of TV show funny couple filler episode but leads to serious crazy story etc.. @Joeydiaz lol
I had a pet Bob cat in N.C. I found in the woods when it was small. I would let it out when I left my house at 4am and when I got home around 5pm he would be waiting by the door. Awesome cat. I never trained it to but 2 times I left him in the house and he used the toilet but didnt flush it. God I miss that cat. His name was Bobby.
Then you're in for a treat, watch the first Hamilton Morris podcasts (they're on shrooms) and also the Action Bronson one (he lights over a dozens joints in the podcast)
Definitely think mum's have intuition when it comes to their children. Years ago when my older sister was 3 my mum woke up at half 2.in the morning and felt she had to check on my sister, everything was fine the same thing happened the next day but on the third day exact same time she woke up and tried to ignore the feeling as twice before it had been nothing but she just couldn't shake it and when she went to my sisters room my sister was choking and going blue, saved her life, my dad always tells. The story but my mum for whatever reason doesn't like to talk about it
Joey Diaz, mad man, bad mon. Love his stories. When I was a kid, I had a penchant for picking up winning lottery tickets off the ground, that people were so used to losing, they think they lost and throw em out. I take em to the store, get the money, and buy some candy. lol
You can tell how much Uncle Joey respects and loves Rogan like family with how he always says his full name when referring to him. Especially whenever he’s putting emphasis on his stories, you know he’s serious about shot when he’s says “Joe Rogan” lol. Love this guy.
Talking about excusing grandma’s whereabouts. My dad had to serve a few months when they sent drunk drivers to the state work farm. I was about four years old then. It wasn’t until I was an adult, I learned he didn’t go back in the Army for a while but was serving time
I know what Joe is is talking about. I have those intuitions a lot. I’ve always been a little paranoid about certain stuff or feelings, but I don’t have any understanding of it. My Mom & Sister always jokes im psychic. But the thing is I never know when I’m just being careful, paranoid, or I’m absolutely right lol.
Intuition is a lot like a 6th Sense. But everyone has it though. Some are just more astute. The smallest details can trigger a "bad feeling," like a shadow in a mirror down the hall you can see in the corner of your eye, the way someone says one word, etc. It's very interesting. Read The Gift of Fear if you want to know more.
Joey! I grew up in Hackensack going to west New York and union city every weekend. Father lived on BLVD East. I know that place like the back of my hand. Love you're stories, resonates with my upbringing
These two guys together are the absolute end. I can visualise them hitting the bottle together and waking up in some low dive jail cell somewhere laughing their heads off.
Sometimes when I listen to Joey Diaz I don’t know if he is explaining real life situations or if it’s dreams. He almost has too good of a memory for all of his stories to be true. Regardless dude is fun to listen too.
this is so true! there are like two in my family - one has passed though and the rest always pray to her for help when there are illnesses or surgeries and such
Also on Joey's show he is usually on 1500 mg of THC with Lee. His energy is definitely different because he is way more stoned on his own show. Just look at the podcast he did with Mike Tyson. Definitely a different energy than his own show.
