Guys, this was the 80’s. I know it seems absolutely bonkers but without using cellphones the world is pretty different. And yes I know Motorola released a mobile phone in 1973, but nothing like now.
I actually used to do that all the time until middle school. I'd go from street address to and literally end with "New York State, Blank City". It's because they used to teach us as kids that if you're lost just tell someone where you're from
Solar Brazy I think it’s because life is so linear for most people, they can’t believe the shit some people lived through. It’s understandable when you think about the fact that most people wake up go work a 9-5, go home, eat dinner, watch t.v, go to bed. Maybe they’ll go to a bar with their friends on the weekend but that’s about it. Retired at 65.
"THERE'S 3 DICKS" lmao. I love listening to Joe and Joey trade stories...Joey Díaz is fu#*ing hilarious! (They both are). I really appreciate Joey's honesty...it makes him so easy to relate to.
That house sitting job is a DREAM job. $800 a month in the 80s is equal to $1944 today. It's like $485 a week today. With no rent. I'd get a car for $400 a month payment. And that would be a awsome car.
Geeeze this Joey Diaz is no question the greatest story teller alive. Please write a book I'll be the first to order. Your life is like 50 other lives in one.
I’m from Philly. A Nor’easter will cripple the city for days. I lived in Colorado for 2 years and experience snow blizzard that made nor’easters look like flurries 🤣. Craziest thing of all was how efficient the Plows were though. Joey is 100% right on this they were next level
