Yeah I think he was doing Kyokushin since he was like 7 from that point forward he’s been getting kneed and kicked in the head now he’s 42 years old and he still trains “excessive head trauma” isn’t completely out of the question
Well that’s the risk you take being someone else is allowed to pound your head as hard as they can with kicks for arms fists possibly elbows knees etc💯
This is taken out of context. In the podcast, GSP says this happens when he’s laying down. Either he’s just falling asleep or getting sleep paralysis. He never says he thinks he’s getting snatched by UFOs.
U telling someone they may have a cold or the flu means you’re pretending to be a doctor, bud some of these doctors don’t know wtf they’re doing. That’s the funny part 😂
Your pathetic if you don't know that Joe Rogan can spot CTE or head trauma from a mile away he's been commentating on the sport since the UFC started. If your doubting his abillities then I think you shoukd turn away since jes very knowledgeable at the sport
That Hendricks fight was brutal. He took huge and concurrent shots to the head. He wasn’t moving his head off the center line at all for the majority of the fight and that fight is probably the worst fight of his career in terms of damage.
The same thing happens to me but I'll miss an entire week sometimes and I remember some things years later. I've lost track of the times people will tell me stories or show me pictures and videos of me that I have no recollection of untill way later and it has been happening since I was a kid aswell. I also got my first major head injury (concussion) at 7 years old so maybe GSP had a serious head injury he doesn't remember, all I can remember from mine is how it happend and not being able to have lights on in the house at night and I had to cover my eyes during the day for a long time.
Sounds like he has dissociation D.I.D? I have this too due to trauma (not head trauma) that I've experienced, throughout my life. Sometimes I lose track of time, time feels slower or faster, I don't feel real or things around me don't seem real, sometimes if I try to talk about the trauma my mind blanks out that specific thing and I can't remember the event, it was pretty depressing but I've been getting better, I hope gsp does as well 🙏
No it's CTE. Build up of bad proteins in the brain from head trauma. WWE wrestlers get it, American football players get it, MMA fighters get it, boxers get it.
That Hendricks fight gave GSP so much brain damage. That fight was horrible for him. He got hit in the head and knee’d in the legs more than anywhere else.
GSP? Head trauma? I think out of anyone in the UFC ever, he's taken the LEAST amount of damage. I can't really remember a time where he even got rocked, except the one time he got knocked out. I could be wrong about that, but it does seem that way.
We’ll if it’s since a kid, I just think he has a an extreme focus skill, so I think it’s a time passing thing. Where he so focused on life and what he’s doing, experiencing, that time passes really quick sometimes and it doesn’t think right
@@yt.personal.identification most of us westerners believed a big man in red used to go down chimneys and deliver gifts but we learned the truth and move on.
That happened to me a few times 4 years ago when I was hitting those thc wax pens heavy. There were times I’d just lose a few hours or I’d make up a whole memory and completely believed it until I was either proven wrong or came to the conclusion that there was no way it happened once I did enough investigating. It was pretty creepy cuz one time my friend experienced it with me. Like we had the same delusion. I stopped smoking those after and it never happened again.
@@unbornk20si93 lol it was just those wax pens or dab pens. It’s basically thc oil that you can vape. They’re cool every once in a while but detrimental for everyday use in my opinion.
Happening since a kid could be something like adhd more realistically than brain trauma adhd is known to cause short term memory issues but leave totally functional long term memory. Especially when you consider its very clear george has OCD and anxiety disorder this seems more realistic as theres like a 50% correlation between adhd and these disorders+autism and it'd explain why it's only the short term memory side
@@Miss.information_Lover No. he was bullied as a kid and learned martial arts to stop it. But he wasn’t fighting and dealing with CTE since childhood. It’s aliens. Pay attention.
@@odysseusnissan3646u can get head trauma from being repeatedly hit over n over especially since hes been teaining as a kid. U dont need to be hit hard. It can happen from years of being hit. So its not like a weird theory for him to believe its cte
Man thats deep... he sounds genuinly concerned about it. This is called missing time syndrome where people cant remember a period of time passing. Its sometimes im certain groups linked to alien abductions as people who claim to have been abducted report 3 or 4 hours missing that they cant account for... im not saying its that, given GSPs profession i would say its most likely brain damage :/
I'm not a fighter at all. The only time I suffered any hard hit to the head is back in 2008. Anyway idk but sometimes randomly I could look at the clock and it'll say 12:24pm I promise it seems like I look away for maybe an hour playing rdr2 or something scrolling on RU-vid check the time again and it's like 3:55pm like wtf?
Memory is very trainable still in middle age, by forcing yourself to try remember things whenever you naturally get the chance, and doing mental activities like reading and studying. A natural choice for a fighter would be to study books about anatomy and kinesthetics. Whatever setbacks a person has they can improve in memory from where they are at.
Have memory loss threw bieng stabbed and sepsis yes I'm from uk I'm 45 now remember things from child hood but can loose keys phones sometimes 4 .5 times in I hour I have man bag everything goes in with notes of wifebuthes rightist
