Ted LeMoine I will agree that he doesn’t know baseball, but Stephen A Smith definitely knows his basketball. That’s why they call him Stephen Naismith (the guy who invented basketball) I’m a huge basketball fan and student of the game. That being said, he should stick to basketball only.
@BLACK BULL lol you fucking idiot it was a doctor's stoppage and Cowboy tried to push his eye back in to place you have no idea what you're talking about
As he looks at the man and his son lying on the ground, blood running down their faces, walks over looking down on them. He points and says *"ChEcK Du NuMbUs"*
Remember when Stephen A. kept making fun of Manny Pacquiao after getting knocked out cold from Marquez? It was like a joke to him. Stephen A should not be commentating on combat sports. He’s so disrespectful.
He can't do a 360 dunk so how can he comment on the slam dunk contest. These guys got paid and could give two shits what Steve says. They are working through their own mental issues.
How are they respecting the integrity of the sport by putting cerrone in a cage 4 days after his 90 day medical suspension was up? That's not enough time for a camp. Whether cerrone is the one that did it or if he was just fed to the wolves, the fight was a fix, and all the flack Stephen's getting is bs.
@Cullan Wiltshire bullshit. A fix is a fix and I'm not respecting anyone throwing a fight. Especially since cerrone came back and said his nose and orbital are fine. No one is immune to criticism, and its foolish to think some are. This is typical Pride shit in the UFC
@@blamberton7893 it's the sport of fighting when 2 men fight afterwards mutual respect is shown by decent human beings Only low lifes fight someone and disrespect afterwards
Xi Jiun I agree man, he flip flops his opinions depending on who’s on the podcast man. It’s sad to see the guy start to become a schill after developing relations with these fighters. You really can’t take his opinion anymore it’s a tough scene
Yeah but right before Skip got his own show it was a 1 sided beat down. Almost like Skip was too beat down to fight back like he did before. That was a good show but at the end it was hard to watch. I see Skip try and do that to Shannon sometimes but Shay just laughs it off. Skip is sometimes definitely delirious when it comes to Dak and the Cowboys and this is coming from a Dallas fan.
Stephen A tried to alpha Joe during UFC commentary by putting his hands on him repeatedly . If that scenario happened in a bar instead I doubt Stephen A would have put any videos out about Joe
Right that shit had me dying laughing like you ain’t have to punk joe like that 🤣 Joe realized that alpha shit goes out the window when a big dog (IFYKYK) comes in instead of the Mayo warriors he’s used to 🤣🤣
Honestly Joe Rogan should just invite him Stephen A Smith to the Podcast and watch some MMA fights with him after and give him the breakdown of those fights
@Drake Sarvansky no we're talking about his right commentary it was extremely sub par what should Joe Rogan be taught about he's not trying to be a sports commentator he already is one for mma he just sticks with that he doesn't do other sports he doesn't know like Stephen A did here that's not a knock on him and I already made my position very clearly on this I'd love to see Rogan educate him on how to be a better ufc commentator
Steve Shue I’ll be quite honest I think this commentary will result in stephen a going on JRE some time this year, joe the type of guy to bring him on after saying what he said. It’d be interesting
After cowboy said he broke in there and was looking for a way out I guess joe was wrong about stephen a smiths comments. Dude is still a casual but he was spot on in what he was saying.
It’s not fully his fault. They set that fight after cowboy got beat back to back, and his last fight was the Gaethje KO. His fight before that was the Tony fight, which was the fight in which he had a broken orbital bone. Then they have him move up to welterweight to fight Conner 3 and a half months after getting knocked out. He fought Tony, Justin, and Conner in a year. He got finished in all of these fights. They set him up.
Because it hurts your feelings? ROFL!! Sorry kids that is now how the real world works. Boxing has always had old ass men talking shit and no one's feelings got hurt.
Rogan is a UFC shil. Stephen A was questioning the credibility of the squash match the UFC sold for 75 dollars and had to be shouted down. but the emperor had no clothes, the fight was a joke.
Joe would never do that in a million years.... think about what you’re saying. Joe is gonna fly to Bristol CT to talk to people he doesn’t care about lol. Please. SAS should go on the podcast if he wants to talk.. more people view it
Stop making it sound like MMA is better than other sports - it's not. You think elite athletes in other sports don't find it disrespectful when you call them quitters? Why is MMA a snowflake?
Tyson was an uncaged animal amazing power! He put more fear into a whole room than any fighter to exist. Conor fighting is a thing of beauty smooth pure magic in the octagon makes you want to see him fight everyone! Both are fucking ruthless legends in their own game!
Tyson was fighting WORLD CHAMPIONS since the age of 18.... Dont ever compare a a true CHAMPION LEGEND To a wannabe alternative facts record holder... I hear Conor is fighting bj Penn next so that he can also have a win at 185....
I fuckin love Max. I sincerely miss his HBO commentary on boxing. So many insights he had before, during, and after so many fights. Always had an eloquent and thought-provoking way in particular to analyze a fight after it happened. He had a way of summarizing fights very well in a way that felt like how it should be written in history books.
@@gsimon123/videos I remember Max when he was on Sportsnation with Beadle and Marcellus. He was the straight man and he did a good job. He's always had that enticing way of speaking.
james83925 so you’re saying Jordan couldn’t win until he actually did start to win? Because he beat bird, magic, isiah Thomas ALL THE LEGENDS OF HIS ERA. Oh Jordan couldn’t win until he actually got some reliable players around him? He couldn’t beat full teams by himself in a team game? Name ONE other all star MJ played with besides pipen? How many did magic play with? How about bird? And you’re wrong bird and magic did bring some life back to the league but MJ made it global.
@james83925 the hypocrisy is amazing, fucking idiot you are. So Bird had 5HOF in the Celtics, the Lakers had 3 one of them Kareem who is a BETTER player than Magic and you are saying Jordan could not beat them alone with a team of drug addicts? No Shit?
@james83925 Jordan 3peated with only 1 HOF and swept the Pistons, the team that was spanking the Celtics and the Lakers. So stfu. Jordan is by far the player with less help who won more in the history of the NBA until 93, reason why in 93 he was already considered the Goat.
Ive been doin it all day. ...its hilarious. Not a fan of how the MMA community treats SAS...or anyone on the outside for that matter. The way they act, one would think every fighter was a millionaire and doesnt need coporate help.
@@slimguardnii he said that something was wrong the night he felt Conor, he just want into it. So when he saw a way out, he took it. Barley tried, gave up, and didnt want to be in there that day
@@BillyBobThorton777 I mean he also got cleeeann round house to the face lmao just saying he was pretty rocked almost surprised he didn't went out tbh, respect fs💯
There are plenty of sports that end at a certain point because of a deficit between the parties or some other established situation, but I won't dignify your ignorance giving examples.
@@tumadrexuxa and in none of them can you end the game in 40 seconds, which was his point. You can win a cricket game early but only because the other team can concede, which can actually happen in most sports. In Rugby, the referee can stop the game at half time if one team is more than 50 points up. But again, only combat sports can be ended in 40 seconds because you beat your opponent so hard.
🤔 Idk about that one. As difficult as being a pro fighter is, it’s be harder to win an NBA championship than UFC title. Mostly because there’s a bunch of different titles for a bunch of different weight classes and the ufc has other promotions which can actually somewhat compete against them.
Yeah Stephen A was proven correct. That fight proved nothing about Conor, as we saw with his subsequent fights, and also Cerrone never won another fight.
@Joe Lee that's not what he said??? That's exactly what Josh said and Joe agreed!!!!!... The whole elevator part?? Did you miss that. It would happen. I know it would. You talk shit. And then later see that person and your getting rdy for a fight or just lost a fight and see the bitch that called you a bitch. Yo I would lose it and I'm not crazy like some of these pro fighters
This didn't age well, because cowboy said exactly what Stephen A. Smith said. " I didn't wanna be there" it's all on an interview. Joe gets mad when is anything about Conor
I loved when Jalen Rose asked Skip Bayless about his basketball history. Like how you gonna trash talk and act like you are such a great analyst but you can't even play the sport
I completely agree with Conor's reply. He is right that Conor didn't show enough. But hey, good observation, but cant call Cowboy a quitter, he got caught.
Lmao wtf does that mean? He quit? Lmao he never had a chance to do shit he got beaten like a step child in 30 seconds 😂😂 you idiot Stephen a fans are acting like it went deep into the fight and he just quit lmao. You’re delusional.
Yeah because that means a whole bunch lmao. There was no chance for him to quit he got annihilated. You’re mad because it’s Connor and he made him his bitch
@UCPBlO3OrWaluA03CJ77TpTA true. I think all the guy is saying us that there are differences between other sports and that of fighting. We all know this
Well actually we did not learn that Conor could perform under bright lights because he’s been doing that since he beat Aldo. I learned that Conor has a wider diversity of skills that he’s credited for. He mentioned it in the press conference how he clearly feels disrespected when people say he only has a left hand.
When Joe and Stephen A were on sport center talking about the fight I could tell Joe was like WTF is Stephen A talking about ? I knew joe was gonna say something on JRE ....
Benjamin Marquez I think it was more so, the situation is bad as it is, joe confronting him n stopping it in that moment may have not been the best move.
