@@tristanlong813 it was directly after he aas stopped and he was mad about being stopped on his feet. He apologised directly afterwards, it was just a moment of frustration and dissapointment. Doesnt mean he disliked gaethje or is a sore loser, he just hadnt processed losing and was angry at herb for stopping him on his feet. Again, he apologized directly afterwards.
And he's been on the church& surely heard about Cocos Irish Midwestern wife a time or two. Joey loves tellin ppl he married a white girl!! Like he hopes that it bums you out. Hard. For a long time.
His ground game is non-existent tho. And his division, its filled with wrestlers and grapplers, so, it aint gonna go damn good for him, either he ends up as a star who fell from grace, or a gatekeeper, like Gastelum.
I think that as a professional fighter, Michael Stylebender is one of the dopest names you could have. It just sounds like you can never know what to expect from him because he’s adaptable
Striking js so damn hard to master, unlike ground game one little mistake could end up very painful, most my black eyes are from sparring not actual fights 😂
Bale Gareth Is a proven cheater though, just because everyone did it doesn’t make it any better i.e if Adesanya went on to win as many consecutive fights like Anderson and was proven to do it completely clean then he is in my opinion a better fighter than Anderson. Plus the fact he is fighting much better opponents.
@@TomCL-vb6xc Izzy's fought better opponents ? He's fought nobody in the top 5 yet. He's had 5 fights in the ufc, relax bro. Anderson fought the champ his 2nd fight and then defended the title against top contenders for years. You must've started watching mma last year lol.
Considering the sport is mixed martial arts wouldn’t there be an argument to make that the champion of that weight class is a “specialist” at combining the martial arts if they didn’t come from a previous high level career in that discipline wether its striking or grappling, grappling specialist examples would be damian maia, henry cejudo, yoel romero, daniel cormier, rhonda rousey or striking specialist - israel adesanya, stephen thompson, michael page, holly holm. My ideas of athletes who were the best at blending the various disciplines together and being fluid and well versed in all areas are gsp, tj dillashaw, frank shamrock, bas rutten, jon jones, fedor emelianenko to name a few
No...... Herb Dean messed up that fight. Bisping was illegaly saved by the bell. He was napping after the Silva knee and allowed to sleep on the matt. NEVER seen it before.
This aged like wine. They described izzy's techniques that he used in his second fight w pereria. Didnt panick when pereria was teeing off on him, waited patiently to set the perfect trap that knocked him out.
You would think there would be something in his contract with the ufc that says he can’t show up on things like this as he could show biases for refereeing
Herb dean is a consummate professional, quite possibly the best in the game only rivalled by big john and even if he liked certain fighters style he would never let that affect his refereeing of a fight, he takes his job too seriously to do that and the ufc knows that so they probably know that isn't necessary. And even herb brings that up in one of the podcasts he is on with joe that he knows he needs to be careful with what he says in the show because he can't have favorites.
