While being in a successful rock band can hardly be said to be uneventful, I'm glad that Shirley and the band chose to have a long career, even if it meant not being super famous anymore. Fascinated by Shirley for decades so cool attitude and talented gifted cool to still have a they around it was a crazyness in Brazil when they came feel years back. Hope they come back soon. Fame can play with you mind but in the end is a fun life she looks amazing

Good call. Garbage is still a known entity even among the younger crowd. The Cranberries? Not so much. They rode in on the Alt wave but also benefited from the late 80s to mid 90s interest in all things Irish. I'm not slagging them off, mind you, I'm still a fan of their music. From what I've seen, Dolores O'Riordan is funny, intelligent and introspective. I'm sure she'd be a fascinating interview for Joe.
