Saw the mescaleros and joe a few times and everyone was a joy ,as it goes tonight may 3rd 2000 it was i think Brixton academy and it was boiling hot all round a great gig rip joe

It’s such a shame that Joe is literally singing “his heart out” and the audience is unappreciative. Yes hindsight is 20/20 but even without his passing, they should have been way more respectful. ( especially during the quieter tunes). Still it’s fantastic to see how accommodating Joe was and how much passion he had for his work. Wish you were still here Joe.
