Joey has an encyclopedic memory for when/where he was doing drugs at decades ago. "I bough some great shit near the dumpster by the 7/11 on Fairfax on Labor Day, 1987."
" oh lee one night I was in a bar on 12 th street in union city and it was july 10 on Saturday 1988 and I had bought 2 grams of coke from joey meatballs .
Coke's good for that. Heroin, booze, weed...etc turns you into a mindless dipshit. You can't remember what you did an hour ago. I'm honestly glad I'm a drunk. I'd hate to have to remember 1/100000th of what Joey remembers about his usage.
For a lot of people, it's the third drink that gets them thinking about doing some lines. With Joey, he starts doing lines, and then thinks about having a few drinks lol.
With me I have a drink then immediately want coke but sometimes crave the coke but can't do that without drinking to level shit off It's a vicious circle which has pretty much destroyed the last 25 years out of my 46 years alive and continues to do so Addiction is a bitch as it will never ever go away
No wonder I've never heard of him. He's not funny at all. He thinks his drug stories are different from everyone else who's done drugs for some reason. EVERYONE that has drugs for any length of time has these kinds of stories.
These stories are bullshit. I had a close friend go through coke addiction. Hes been stabbed, beat up, raped, prison, kidnapped. He told me he would't even relive those 4 years for a million dollars.
Anyone else adjust the volume 12 times while listening to this? I alternated between damaged ear drums and listening to whispers for eight minutes straight.
@@stem6560 Or maybe it's not all he came up with, it's just all he felt like commenting on. It's a valid observation. This is why Joe Rogan has Jamie at his side covering the technicals. Sound is important, and can be REALLY annoying to the listener.
Doing coke with a friend once and he asked for a drink of my beer. He wiped the top of the bottle with his shirt before drinking. I said "You just snorted blow off the back of a filthy toilet in a nearly condemned dive bar restroom, and you're worried about a trace of saliva?" We literally laughed for 15 minutes straight.....Good Times
Cosmo Vedder thats why cokes great iv snorted it off a steippers ass in vegas and once off the back of a toilet in a bar after puking my brains out helped keep thw night going hahaha
Very few people have reached this level of honesty. I think my friend was going for this legendary status but unfortunately didn’t overcome the hookers and “fentanyl laced with coke” and died at 47. Spent a week alone bloating in his bathroom with the faucet overflowing. Best friend alcoholic, etc etc etc. the world missed out but he loved telling the stories like Joey D has. We need real people like this to tell these stories ‘cause most of us are sensible but still curious what THAT world is all about. Till the end of time.
It's sad alot of the time it's because the dealers are lazy and basically use the same bowl or same scale that they cut or weigh fentanyl with and to someone that hasn't touched opiates in years just a little bit of fetty will kill them it's sad
Mike Hunt i agree with you mate. There’s something so totally unhealthy and selfish about the experience. I’ve recently been diagnosed with a heart condition and at 31 years old I cannot drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes or do blow of Xanax again for the rest of my life. Probably a blessing but right now it’s kind of hard to come to terms with.
That was my dads old friend. Blew his heart up while he was doing coke alone, and no one found him for two weeks. It was normal for him to not speak to anyone for weeks on end so no one thought much. Really sad.
sometimes i feel like joey still has some residual blow left in his system, it just slowly releases into his bloodstream bit by bit each time he tells these stories 😂
Doing hardcore drugs for 10-15 years straight just does something to the brain. Not that it will necessarily make you dumber, but it will affect your thinking and your perception to some degree. Most middle aged former drug addicts typically just seem off to me. Like they destroyed some aspect of normal mental function that will never come back. Interestingly ex booze addicts to me seem to be better off, but people have been drinking for centuries so we have a tolerance for it. We haven't been doing cocaine or pills for that long.
@@ryanjacobson2508 we have been doing cocaine for literally centuries and chewing the coca leaf for literally a millennia (same with alcohol, tobacoo etc )
@@ryanjacobson2508 idk man, I think at the end of the day a substance abuse problem is a substance abuse problem… but I guess certain drugs definitely hit the body harder than others… I know some ex heroin addicts who still occasionally do coke and somehow they do it in extreme moderation. Couldn’t be me though.
@@stillsearching5816 bet only drug you ever did was weed thats why all this crazy shit sounds impossible. You dont wanna be messing with hard shit like coke and opiates because life will be meaningless afterwards
Uncle Joey had to have been the most fun, irritating, mean, carefree, party monster to have a night out with ever. I love his stories and prefer when Joe Rogan is talking with him. They are too funny. 😂😂😂
Damn, this story is crazy. I thought I was the only one that would do that when being on coke. It's been 20 yrs for me this yr but, I thought I was the only weirdo that had to get off cause I was so high 😂😂. Now 20 yrs later, I'm laughing at myself. Thx for the video
cocaine and alcohol mixed together in the body creates a whole different drug, cocaethylene i believe its called. one of the reasons alcohol and cocaine often times go hand in hand.
A delicious little mix. Sipping on a beer yacked to the gills while talking to the bartender use to be my favorite times.. Watching the games and smoking out front with a random
I became I professional coke head my senior year in high school. I quit all sports and worked 40+ hours a week to support that habit. I’d go to the 2 classes I had, get off, eat something big, then I’d go to my dealers house and score my usual 1-2 grams. Before work, I’d do lines and jerk off, then take a 45 min shower and head into work with a huge water jug, fresh pack of cigs and the remaining blow. And my blow guy was a well connected Mexican dude that got his coke from Dallas, TX. You have no idea the physical and psychological response I had to this story. I ended up graduated to meth and I haven’t done yay in several years but MANN did I relate with this story!
I remember that early 80's coke. I did two small lines before heading out to a party. Had to pour a drink, put on some music, and sit down. Couldn't go out for a few hours!
I absolutely lost the entirety of my mind when he said “I’m on fiya I had to get out I had ta go jerk off” 😂😂😂😂😂 nobody like diaz man oh man. Haven’t laughed that hard in weeks
Story of my life EVREYTHING Joey talks about is like me looking in the rearview mirror it's funny but really sad its starts fun but it gets Really dark after a while ...real dark
Hey Joey all I'm going to say is I've lived in Miami all my life and the 80's were the best years ever bro! I hear you and the things we did were funny now but at the time it was Nuts.🤣✌
After a few lines and your finally on you own uncle joey stories have you thinking your in the same room with him video stopped I thought it was my story time hahaha
