Yeah, he first won the million without much effort, but the next time, he backed off when he knew he was beat, instead of trying to go any further. In fact, it was even the correct decision, since he didn't trust his brother's answer enough to go for it. If he didn't back off, he would have lost a lot.

It is not that he didn't trust his brother's answer, his brother said I would guess Jackie just because who he is, but I wouldn't risk my money on it, so his brother was just guessing, and he was guessing on Lou Gehrig, who, as it was in the video, was the 1st player on a wheaties box. And he said, in the end, that if it was his money he was "stupid enough" to take the chance, but, as it was for charity, he wouldn't do it and he walked away, what was the correct thing to do. In most cases when it's someone else's money you just don't give a shit and squander it all, but in this case he actually cared about the people getting the money more than himself. If playing the call on a good speaker, you could actually set up a direct voice search. So the second he's on the line, he just says clearly "First baseballer on postage stamp", and the answer is there in two seconds. Doesn't work equally well for all kinds of questions though, as some questions aren't as easy to tailor for a google search, but really effective. :)
