Great video man most remans are from Mexico westlings remanufacturing used to be one of the biggest players. Years ago moved most facilities to Mexico. Where based out of the Prineston area 2 uncle's worked there I could get alternators and starters for almost anything for 20 bucks some of which are still working 10-15 years later. I was just talking to a buddy about this the other day. A guy can't seem to get a decent alternator or starter from a parts store anymore. AutoZone, O'Riley, Advance are even worse than Napa and Car Quest. Even the Napa premium lifetime ones I only get a year at most out of. I've had the best luck with Denso new and remanufactured from Rock Auto or Car Quest. The Delco new and remanufactured from Rock Auto seem to be pretty good too, but I dont have a lot of hours or miles on any of those yet. The extra wire you hooked up is the exciter wire for a GM or Delco style alternator.
Power of the straight pipe!!! And it's chrome! At least NAPA has a good warranty!! Much better than the lifetime bearings... They we're guarenteeed for the life of the bearing.. a day, a week, a year... Then buy another..
