Currently looking at a 2015 John deere ez trak with less than 200 hours on it for 1600.00 Disclosed was a hydraulic leak in a line. Was wondering how expensive those lines are to mess with yourself or if there is some type of patch you can sleeve on that line and add a steel hose clamp
There are no hydraulic lines. The hydro transmissions are self contained. The only external line I know of is from the oil reservoir to the Hydro Units. The hydro unites themselves can leak a several places. There are seals around the axels and o-rings around the control inputs. There is also a plastic plug that tends to crack when it gets old and will cause oil leak.
