John Farnham - Burn for You I First Time Reaction 

Thanku for your lovely reaction on John. I’m 66 an my 70 year old husband love this man, his talent, personality and love for his wife Jill and sons. Plus he’s so funny! He lovely and generous to his band always giving them their time on the stage , and praising them. He’s an ordinary Aussie, but so talented he can sing any kind of music. From pop, rock musicals, opera soul blues you name it. Watching his concerts fills me with joy as they are So good, but we were young then too and the time has or is going so quickly. John’s recovering from a huge cancer op where part of his jaw was removed. We don’t know if he’ll sing again. But we are just thanking God he’s alive. And we Aussies are so glad you young reactionists are finding out how brilliant John is as an entertainer. FYI He wrote Burn for you with Phil Buckle the guitarist!! Such a lovely song. Sung beautifully as always by John. Written by John himself along with the guitarist Phil Buckle and his producer Ros Fraser, for their loved ones who they missed so much while they where travelling.

yes you are spot on, this is one of his very own written songs that he wrote for his wife and family. Jill has been with him for decades and still is beside him. He couldn't stand being away from her and his two boys, and that was the number one reason why he never cracked the international market. Many of the worlds greatest legends across the globe attempted to lure him to try, but he refused to move his family from what they knew and where they were comfortable. At 4:19 he is waiting to see if the crowd would start singing, however they were too mesmerised so he continued without them without stopping again.

Wow, that was one of the most empathic and wonderful reactions I've seen. John and his Jill have been married for more than 40 years, so it's a wonderful love story. And of course, he is the voice.
