Most women are now leading the men and creating relationships that leave women very frustrated. I heard a lady on a show say… I want the old Staley romance man to look after me .. but I want to be independent, proving for myself and not needing a man. I 100% agree. I’ve been a super independent woman for 20 years. After 2 husband’s who were completely dependent on me and in whom I finally lost interest after years of not getting any manly support from them, I’m finally at the stage where I wand to become a vulnerable woman dependent on a strong, successful man. I hope, I will finally have find this man. Then, I will quit my job and become totally dependent on my Man, and support him emotionally.

Why would you want to be totally dependent on a man? Why should the man be the only provider? I am an independent, strong woman, too, and I want to keep it that way. In my marriage we are both working and helping each other. My husband loves an independent, strong woman. You have just not found the right man yet.

That's not all men, its because these men were the same. I use the word self sufficient..someone suggested I never use the word independent. A True partnership both can work yet they both contribute to an equal partnership. Though dating ask them what their meaning is / and what it looks like to them / in a relationship ?/ or commitment ? Find out if you share the same in both/ on same page / to proceed to know them better. See if you share the same values ..lifestle..compatibility and view how they live. If there is enough there spend 100 hrs together with them with family friends in hobbies interests../to be able determine if you can blend lifestyles..? Dig deep with radical honesty before the dating fun begins. You may determine to recess not to date them /from answers given to your hard questions . This filters out who you want to date or know more giving your time or not!..

@@Lulu-kt6gr i think he explained it pretty good. if you talk more you open up for him to get into you and not vice versa. Opening up is feminine and entering is masculine. If you dont talk he has to open up and its against the male side. On the other hand you try to enter him wich is not feminine. The other way round it makes much more sense. The women opens up for the man to get it. Easy as that. Also keep in mind if the man needs to talk all the time because you dont talk he feels you are not interested.

This reminds me of the book- How to Win Friends and Influence People. In the book the author talks about Rule Number One: Don't Criticize Condemn, or Complain. When you do you'll only force the other person to defend their ego; this will make them shut down and not be open to what you have to say.

I so appreciate all of this. Have recently read beyond Mars and Venus. Amazing. All that said… I feel so many white male coaches (yes I said it ) are overlooking women being in survival due to a patriarchy that enables and entitles men. A society that still does not value feminine traits…as many are not quantifiable. Just look at the news. Men are hurting and violence is rampant. I also coach and work with women. Many of these paradigms play on women’s codependency/wounds so we will try harder. I understand masculine and feminine very well and until men can honor/value and embody their inner feminine…they will continue to project their misogyny on the outer feminine. I respect both of you immensely and wanted to share the ego consciousness that most of the collective (especially men) are still in does not invite or encourage men to cherish women.

I've been independent & in my masculine energy for ages. It wasn't until my 70-pound air conditioner broke, and I could not carry it to the curb that I began a process of weakening into my feminine. But I still tried to fight that. I had asked the building super to please carry it out, but he would not. It wasn't part of his job so I had to stare at that air conditioner on my floor for months. I even tried to dismantle it with a screw driver so I could carry it out piece by piece, but the screws were stripped. I began to weep. I then wept for other situations where I couldn't come to my own rescue. I finally felt the need for a man's help.

I really like alot of what John is saying, and he's really got alot of wisdom and knowledge . However, although I can see how the positive reinforcement would work at times, I would personally resent the fact that it might mean I as the woman would be the one stuffing down my emotions all of the time, while my husband gets to be slaphappy, irresponsible and inconsiderate, yet then get to feel happy from the high of feeling rewarded too. That doesn't seem balanced to me. Perhaps the woman should practice being both being authentic and also at other times do just positive reinforcement. I would want a man to have enough character to do what's right regardless of how he feels (at least a reasonable amount of time) because I wouldn't respect him otherwise. I also wouldn't feel truly loved if the only reason he was with me was that I never complained. I mean, what would be the point of getting affection & love from him if I didn't feel he love the real me? I wouldn't respect a man who's thinking skills only go as high as a trained dog so to speak. I do understand we as women can get in the habit of being too emotional and negative if our needs aren't met, so I believe John's advice about positive reinforcement is very valuable in this way, maybe just not all the time.

ladys most guys just want a women that is easy to get on with and adds something to his life.. that means somebody to be with and do things with and has warm feeling toward him and has respect for him .and women want the same..so there you go ladies look for a man you can respect and can respect you ..icing on the cake is common interest's that over lap by about 50 percent and you have it made.all the rest of the psychoanalysis is just crap ..if your normal and happy you just get on ..if you have to think about it youve got the wrong guy

Thank you..🎉i agree the masculine needs to feel needed by the woman for him not to leave..i think verbally appreciating him...i understand the flight/ fight cortisol..causing.the woman..to using an imperfect time versus all the things he shows by effort..is it possible if cortisol levels are high in women causing this to happen increasing bp levels to rise..i noticed during covid my level of anxiety increased and were high.. ? I'm back to dance classes .I ballroom dance some women in the beginning do lead especially when they are teachers it becomes worse..I was teacher..I later danced ballet..when I focus with a beginner man I always dance at his level .j never out dance him. I learned through out my years with the help of a couple men dancers who taught me how to properly follow the lead ..I can't have a weak lead I need a good lead..but the women need to use enough resistance with the man leading..for the dance to have great momentum in moves with accurate timing /..control took many years to perfect.so I can relate to what your saying comparing this to relationship control and yes women have a degree..being conscious/ aware ..can help both men and women .just like we say it takes two to tango..on a dance floor ~

I have listened to your videos and I learned a lot from it. However, I’m still struggling. I seem to have trouble getting close with others because the lack of trust. I tend to attract people who are not willing to put efforts into me. That’s probably because of the way I interact with them? I’ve always wanted to be cherished cared for , yet I’m also afraid of being one. (Probably kind of like do I deserve to be treated that way?)I often feel depressed whenever I see some women being cherished by their partners. It’s like, I will never have that moment. I’d be appreciated for anyone who could give me some advice. Thank you :(

I am a 54yrs old. I am agree with John Gray's comments. Women needs love but trust is also important and at this age man has to be successful and provider i.e. equal or stronger than a woman. My question is what about a man who is sexually weak. How love can be possible?

How about listening and see what you can do to calm down? The man probably says that because he cares about you. So follow his idea instead of talking back. Pretty simple.
