Just like in his younger years, John stole into my heart with this dreamy song. I must confess that I was moved to tears. Of course, eighty years later, it's not a shame anymore.

Dedicated today to the 19 innocent children of Uvalde, Texas who were brutally taken away from this world by a crazed gunman. Like the kindergarten babes who were the ones Eric wrote this song for, who can understand why these horrid events happen? All of your lights and those of your two teachers will always shine on in the hearts of those you left behind. 19 small stars now lighting up heaven. Shine on, little ones.

Such a beautiful heartfelt version of this song sung by John. Eric Bogle who wrote this for the children who died in the Dunblane Massacre. Had this sung at my partners funeral last year and listen to it often when I feel low - a really beautiful song

This "Journey" you took us on is of sadness, chills but then closure. We will see all of the family we have lost again and we can look to the stars at night and know they are up amongst them. Beautiful. You bring us in and we can see the magic of your story.

Eric's touching words and your beautiful, heart filled voice help to make a memorial to those we have lost. I still can't not cry when hearing you sing this song. Too many memories are contained in the words.
