Really excellent. I’m very impressed with how the guitar parts were handled by one guy, while doing vocals! The original intro has a harmonized dual lead plus the rhythm part on a third guitar with bass. Sounds dead on here with the four piece!
Damn. The drummer is killing this song, the beat is really what propels this tune and the fills are integral to the original recording’s relentless energy. This drummer manages to add his own flair to it without ruining the original energy. Bravo.
you know y'all did a good cover when I get goosebumps at the end. The Vocals were so good at the beginning, you surprised your drummer and you had trouble keeping it together the first few lines. Looks like you guys know how to have a good time! lol Great balance of fun a professionalism. My only regret is finding this video almost 10 years after it was made.
Folks ...Richie Castellano is a long time member of BOC and Danny Miranda IS BOC'S BASS PLAYER! Just saw them at SONY HALL NYC 3 NIGHT STAND 50TH ANNIVERSARY
All four guys🎉 are/ware BOC at some point🤪 Richie started as sound engineer, then the basist Danny left, Richie became bass player till his return, then became a guitarist in the band, he even have his own song in the last album. Andie substituted in BOC on keys, drums, bass and guitar🤪
Great Job Guys ! I Love your covers.I'd Love to hear Flaming Telepaths (The Jokes on you) I'm sure you know it Richie.Might be good with a buck appearance lol.
I was born in 88 and was lucky to grow up listening to this type of music, but still - I remember recently hearing this song for the first time in years driving from Tampa to West Palm at night - just the perfect song for the moment and inspired me to take a deeper dive into their albums. You guys definitely did the song justice
Wait. Wut? BOC doing a cover of BOC? Okay, got it. Playing lead/rhythm guitar, working the pedal board, singing in key, joking with your pals and making it look easy is epic.
My first Band Geek video was Close to the Edge which is one of my all time favorite songs, and now this! I'm not a big fan of pop music overall, but I've always loved this BOC song since it first came out. I am appreciating how diverse Band Geeks can be.
Super impressed with near spot on vocals from guitar man. It's super hard to sing and play that proficient. At least it is for me anyway, lol. Great harmonies! Well done dudes!
