I love how John Mulaney talks like he came out of the fifties, honestly. Something about the way he constructs sentences is very midcentury to me, as is the tone of his voice. It’s so refreshing and idiosyncratic, honestly.

He reminds me of someone who would have fit right in on the old Adam West, Burt Ward, Batman TV Show. Or maybe the Star Trek Episode "A Piece Of The Action" where there were 1920's Gangsters running the towns. He could have been a great villain with that "talk" of his. I first heard him on the radio, and had no idea what he looked like, I pictured a 20's kind of Gangster, with a Fedora and a Pin Striped Suit, lighting a cigarette, standing in the shadows, leaning, one foot against the wall, asking, "What can I do for ya Bub?" and hanging out with Edward G. Robinson. I wasn't disappointed!

He does say his sentences differently. Something he’s developed especially for talk shows. If you early things of his you don’t hear it. I love the way he talks. It’s funny

One of the real reasons we all make fun of Florida is because Florida law says that all public documents, including all police reports, are open to the public. This led to news agencies finding the weirdest and most hilarious crimes to report about which then became the Florida Man meme. Every state has some truly insane crimes committed but it's far less common to hear about the nonsense that happens in say California than Florida.

I found out about it 2 years ago and I was not happy. Everything on your voter's registration is public information - your address, affiliate party. And the only way you can not have it be public is if you file a petition and only a few people are allowed exemption - like lawyers, politicians, judges, police, pretty much all government workers. I tried petitioned 2 times and was rejected, even cited murders and violence against health care/mental health care providers, which I am.

beef supreme just takes it personally. when you spend your days selling sex acts to strangers behind the swingers clubs in ft lauderdale while smoking meth, it's easy to think all the florida jokes are about you. it'll be ok 'lil beefy, only half the florida jokes are about you. the other 50 % are about your mother.

The entirety of the midwest is exponentially worse than Florida. Other parts of the coasts are arguably better. But you get New Yorkers and Californians who think Fl sucks comparatively, which is where most of the comedians are from. The middle of the country eats those jokes up, spitting their fast food out of their mouths laughing...It's kinda sad actually lol

The face eating was in Florida. I'd say Miami. But there were at least two such incidents. The other one was in, wait for it... Florida! Most of the whacked out things you hear about the state are true, including alligators in swimming pools, chainsaw torture, sex slaves, gun toting kids, sink holes and nutjobs of every stripe. But other than those, we're fairly typical Americans and illegals.

Saw Kid Gorgeous live in Portland (Oregon), but I'm still gonna watch it on Netflix. John Mulaney is the best. I've never heard someone sound so polite while cursing.
