Having been a game warden, and recently retired after a 34 year career with a state wildlife agency, I will vouch for every word this man said about a game warden’s life.
The way this dude describes his job as he’s basically hunting humans. He talks about it and even mentioned how he tracks these law breakers just like you would deer or other animals. Such a cool perspective to hear about his parallels with animal hunting and work.
@@BertiesGhost - I'm happy to know others haven't had their minds shut off by the institutions known to us as "school" and "science". If anyone knows anything about how the world works their mind is open. Don't get me wrong, the scientific method is still used by yours truly, but I smelled the indoctrination as early as elementary school. Plus, I've seen things that most people have not. Things that people automatically write off without even taking a peak at a single piece of evidence.
I always loved running in to New York Environmental Conservation Officers ( ENCON) when I used to hunt regularly. They are real outdoorsman, with a wealth of knowledge. I spoke with one for almost an hour when Mountain Lion we're starting to be reported in New York. It had been over 100 years since they had been seen, and he had heard all the reports. ENCON is a real resource to anyone who loves spending time in the Wild, and they are always generous about sharing their expertise and knowledge!
5 seconds in and i hear “But to share that with everybody nationally in my world, in the fingering line” made me re read the title to make sure i clicked on the right video🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very interesting and I like that he knows the person that is just trying to feed his family and understanding.. Shows he has heart. Joe is smart and asks great questions.
@@texasmade0109 SHUTUP you privelaged fool who had at least one parent probly STILL lives at home and never seen anybody in your neighborhood murdered let alone dozens of people u know NOTHING about why someone would make these choices
But him saying it and him actually doing it are 2 very different things. Obviously he has that position on a podcast that will be seen by millions, he would be viewed as an asshole otherwise. That's like a cop saying I've never roughed up a suspect without it being justified, he's not gonna come out and say yeah, I've taken it too far sometimes when I didn't need to.

I live in a quiet town in San Diego CA & me & my friends used to fish at this creek deep in the canyons. One day we went there to fish & we ran into 5-6 gangbangers. They appeared to be using our fishing hole as an encampment. All were tattooed from head to toe, one was bathing naked in the creek, one was sleeping & the others were just milling around. When they saw us, they all stood up & glared at us. And the worst part is, ALL OF THEM BRANDISHED GUNS AT US. One had a hunting rifle & the other had handguns. We were only like 16 at the time so we ran off because we were scared shitless. We later got word that the police took them all away in handcuffs because they harassed another group of kids & they called the cops. Turns out they all were wanted in LA county & they were hiding out from the cops.

Brendan - gangsters dont hide in the woods Joe - I've seen a few guys that looked like gangsters in the woods one time Brendan - that's what I'm saying the woods are filled gangsters
Not gonna lie. When I was homeless I lived in the mountains and killed stuff out of season just to survive. In my state tho it's legal to kill out of season for sustinance within reason
@Alexander Supertramp yea.it is true. I had a run in with a game warden. I had 5lbs of smoked deer meat at my camp n once he realized i wasnt poaching n i was surviving he gave me $20 to run into town for clean water n wished me well. I was on public land and breaking no laws
@Kush & Hennessy this dude ain't lyin. They just tryna kick them out and raise the rent. All business tactics. You get fucked with if you white but other than that if you got thick skin you'll be fine
Inagine joining a gang, they say they got some serious business to take care of. You all load up and pile in a van, you're anticipating a robbery, drive by, etc. The van stops and the door opens, and you're at a national park and they start grabbing nets and talking about how many fish they are going to catch.
Whats wrong with fishing, Fishing was part of my initiation to join the gang fool, if I didn't catch 2 bby gills or 1 catfish I was out Ese, this ain't a game
previously was a deputy sheriff in one of the largest Tennessee rural counties. worked with TWRA often. we had few deputies on shift to back us up if needed. usually another deputy was up to an hour away. wild life guys were fewer and further between.
What this man is actually referring to is the Mexican cartel “initiation training courses”held deep in the National forests. This is a way to introduce these street gangs into handling automated firearms, killing animals, disposing of carcasses, and obtaining basic survival skills needed when they “get to work” on the trade.
This is a perfect example of doing a job right. Someone once said to me, "What kind of cop do you want to be? Sit in your car, pull over the occasional speeder? Or do you want to be the who gets out of car and walks down that alley? You can do either and no one will fault you." Bravo to John Nores and guys like him who do their job right.
or the ones that screws innocent people over for a bonus or self gain.. cops are human and capable of the same evils as any other human, and in many cases even more so.. thats a fact!!!
@@chriskoch9829 in the second story of that he mentions stumbling upon a super pack of 20 wolves by his cabin and having to shoot. He had a photo of it to back it up. He's a wild man. He's been in survival documentaries and lived in the wilderness.
When I heard Joe freaking out about the warden patrolling 200 square miles I knew that no matter how long the warden spoke after that, Joe's next question was going to be about the patrol area. Sure enough, 4 minutes of changing the subject later, Joe says "so how do you cover that much ground?"
Why not call yourself a gangster? Everytime I hear the term gangbanger I picture a group of people fucking each other, like what would you call someone who participates in group sex?
Btw this guy is absolutely a professional in the field. Never did I believe this gentleman would be on Joe Rogans podcast. Much love from the Bay. Thank you for scaring the hell out me on the trail. Like a damned cougar in the bush. But mostly thank you for be so cool and professional out there, protecting our wildlife, our waterways, those things called trails people walk on for their own recreational activities, and those who utilize the forest and mountains in respectful/legal/responsible manners. Amongst many other things.

Scurge237 I’m sorry my friend, but even tho gta 5 was a decent game. It didn’t come close to gta: San Andreas scope of fun at the time! Besides gta 5 is just Los Santos, you’re still missing 1/4 of the San Andreas map 🗺
I definitely believe this because here in PA gang members have been known to have cabins up the mountains and actually having whole communities in the middle of nowhere in pretty nice housing developments
When I was a kid, we lived near a expansive forest that had some abandoned mining facilities and mines. There was a group of drug addicts that frequently camped out in them because the area was inaccessible except by foot, dirt bike, or horse. This group had a dirt bike that was really too small for an adult, but sometimes they would show up at a gas station with one driving and the other carrying their groceries. At different times some of them had odd jobs, but I guess they mostly got money by stealing from people that lived nearby. One night my parents had left for about an hour and the dog started barking. I knew that it might be one of the druggies foraging so I chained the dog behind the house, grabbed a shotgun and a spotlight, and sneaked over toward one of our outbuildings. After a few minutes, I heard someone rummaging through a toolbox and then saw a flashlight turn on and back off quickly. I set the spotlight down facing them, flipped it on, and pointed the shotgun at the burglar. His eyes were so big that I could have given him a retinal exam. He dropped everything, including a bag with the tools he'd already swiped and his flashlight. He started running toward the side door and tripped on the axle for a tractor attachment. He got up and was furiously limping toward the door. I grabbed the spotlight and took off after him. He went out the door and toward the treeline, still limping like crazy. Just as he got to the treeline, I shot the shotgun up into the air and he launched right into a pile of wild blackberry vines (which have large thorns) and then disappeared. That guy must have been a mess limping and cut to pieces by blackberry thorns. I kinda felt sorry for him. I'm sure he got medicated after returning though.
I can’t believe how humble and honest John seems to be. Everything he says seems to ring true and I don’t detect any hint of narcissistic duplicity at all.
