I have had a man beat me up with his religion for many years..And he very much resembles John Piper. I cannot stand to watch him or listen to him. I have not healed yet..have I? There is a good ending though. Jesus rescued me! He helped me read the bible showing me helpful verses. And He showed me His sayings in Matthew 5 6 7 which have Helped me greatly and I Seek Him Everyday. I have No Trust in men or women.. Jesus is The Only One I Trust any more. 1 John 5:11-12 is a wonderful promise . John 3:16 is another good promise. All of the Lord's promises are wonderful and packed full of asurance for us as human beings and we need to rember his promises
John 10:28-29 First John 2:2 First Timothy 2:4 Second Timothy 2:19 Hebrews 13:5 John 6:47 John 6:37 John 6:39 John 6:40 First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for my sins. John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, through FAITH, and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Notice, the GIFT of God is eternal life, not faith. Faith is how we receive the GIFT of ETERNAL life. We have to believe is to receive it. Since Jesus paid for all my sins, I can not go to hell if I wanted to, because He already paid for them all. Even the ones I have not done yet. First John 2:2. I have eternal life because I believe what Jesus said. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me HATH ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16 So many promises I can not count them all. And I believe everyone based on what He did and not on what I do. Romans 11:6 Romans 4:5 Salvation is a free gift from God when we believe it, and we have eternal life now. And this. First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that YE MAY KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. I know when I am living in sin, they are all paid for. I know his grace is sufficient for all my sin. I know heaven is not a reward for good behavior, but a free GIFT from God. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive our selves and the truth is not in us. So yes, I am a sinner saved by grace. John 3:18 I can no longer be condemned. Jesus paid it all and I paid 0. AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID MY SIN DEBT IN FULL. All of them forever.
Romans 4:6-8 is my salvation. He imputed his righteousness to me, because I have none of my own, and will no more impute sin to my account. He took all of my sins, and gave me His righteousness. What a trade. And it is free. And it is free to every one that believeth. I will never have to hear those terrible words of Matthew 7: 21-23 Because he knows me. Not that I know Him. Second Timothy 2:19 Which I received when I believed. Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30. I am predestined to be raised at the resurrection because of His Spirit that lives in me.
Pastor John Piper is very sound, he depends on the bible and not any other. He teaches the bible and not philosophies of men. Pay attention to his reasoning, very biblical thus God ward.

I Have Jesus Christ as my Personal Savior..I am totally happy, content and complete with Him..But I do need to Heal more. my iPad keeps bringing me these John Piper videos and I need the strength to ignore them. I have great resentment toward religion and a man who beat me over the head with his religion for many years. He very much resembled this man. It is somehow satisfying to say to this man what i could not say to the perpetrator. I am praying for Jesus to Heal me. I have lost through death people I loved in my life because of religion. It is a very difficult thing to Forgive.
kathleen Wharton It would be a challenge to find a more dedicated and authentic Christian than John Piper. Maybe part of your healing can begin with turning to God for help when you face the urge to slander people online? God will give you the strength to do so if you turn to Him. He loves you. Hebrews 12:14-15 🙂
kathleen Wharton You are praying for Jesus to heal you!!! There you go sweetheart you are taking the very first step. I know how you feel. I wasted many years feeling the same. Judging other ministers just like John Piper. I understand the venom the enemy can load into our hearts. Continue in prayer! Call out loud, "Jesus you are the Lord of my heart!" Or, "Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on me!" I call out loud because the enemy leaves when we call on the name of Jesus. I will pray that God will do for you the beautiful miracle he did for me! Ezekiel 36:26, "And I have given to you a new heart, And a new spirit I give in your midst, And I have turned aside the heart of stone out of your flesh, And I have given to you a heart of flesh." I love my beautiful heart of flesh where the Holy Spirit can dwell! Prayers for you! Jesus is calling you and he will celebrate over you and sing loudly for joy the instant you turn to him! And if you have heard his call already, He's singing right now!

And so, how is Got to prove that in a fair and just society, gratitude is the power above all the powers there be, even above the power of God you see, the only motivation controlling the relationship between you and me? For Satan claims that the morality of gratitude is actually slavery, that the morality of giving compassion, pity and charity while expecting nothing in return but gratitude, that it is nothing more than God’s deceitful way to gain everyone’s obedience and worship so that God could hoard all the power and glory in order to control all the wealth. And so, from Able who was martyred for producing gratitude toward God, to the prophets of Israel martyred for their devout gratitude toward God, to John the Baptist, to Christ and to all the most grateful remnant who have always followed in the footsteps of Christ, how can it be said that when a martyr lays down his life to defend the cause of his master, that he was motivated by anything other than the power of a grateful heart? “Jesus said, ‘Greater love has no man, than to lay down his life for a friend.” “His music fills my instrument, his blood runs in my soul, I am just a living legacy to the leader of the band.” Purpose of planet earth being, to establish that life would be slavery for everyone, if there was no gratitude.

Has been in Ministry since before I was born in probably you to he's known God for many years and represents the word very well and gives hope to those who are need more than definitely and most definitely I would say in my time of being a Christian John Piper is more than definitely a good image of what Christ looks like as a man this world is field with sin and ugliness the only thing that he is trying to do is bring hope for the kingdom of God if we repent interesting Christ and live righteous we can live the Internal life
Hey Kathleen, I'm uncertain as to whether you listened to the video. These are not promises made by John Piper, he's talking about promises God has made that he relies on. Yes, John Piper has no power, but God does.
