John Schneider is one of the most overlooked and under-rated artists in country music and undeservingly so. He's a tremedous singer, musician, and performer. He left the industry after realizing that there are things more important in life than sacrificing your soul and what the "business" does to you as an artist. I was 9 when my mom bought me this cassette tape for Christmas. I completely wore it out until it just wouldn't play. I had grown up with the Duke boys, and had been compared to John when younger. He along with Waylon Jennings and Bob Seger paved my way as inspiration and really imprinted music in my heart and soul. Thank you John, for the music and the great stories with sad endings. ... " Old rainbow jukebox" has always been my favorite.

John Schnider is such a great guy, actor and singer. and between Dukes of Hazzard, his Country Music career and his values as a person i never guessed he is from New York, seems like a genuine good ol boy from below that Dixie Line, guess it goes to show country ain't just about where you're from it's who you are.

I got to catch one of John's shows a couple years back and got to chat with him for a bit. A great guy and a fantastic singer and a true patriot of America. its really funny, because several of his songs I sang hard during my youth because I liked them and never realized it was his songs.
I had major crush on John Snider! Bo Duke. And with that car General Lee. I met him at a rodeo in Mesquite. And wouldn't let his hand go. I was 14 in half. And George Strait was there too. I love them both. I just loved John Snider so much. And that car.
I played the violin for 12 years, I could have become a professional if my mother hadn't stood in my way. I can confirm that the violinist is real good. He could play Bach's Sonatas and Partitas, of get a job playing in a symphonic orchestra or a string quartet. Another pleasant surprise!

I have his cassette still that I got for my 13th bday I was so in love w/him it was unreal. I even went to his concert when he came for the state fair. It was so awesome
When I finally bought a computer that was iTunes compatible, John Schneider songs were amongst my very early/possibly first iTunes purchases back in 2006.
I love Conways Music so much, I play them as often as I can……n’ I was totally devastated 😢, as were so many when he passed…….it’s like the World stood still for a few moments!!! I still rmbr how I came to a complete stop (still can’t rmbr what I was doing!!), n’ just burst out Crying!! I still feel so Sad about his passing…….n’ when I feel like this, I just go ahead n’ play one of his tunes……with tears in my eyes n’ heart!! I’ll always love him n’ his music!! I fell in love with him n’ his music when I was 12 yrs old, n’ now I’m 62 n’ still going with his tunes, n’ they’ll never leave me!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

There is nothing, nothing this guy cannot do. He looks perfect, sounds perfect, and can absolutely sing anything. Making a video would be child's play for him. And I'm another one who could listen to him all day.
When he was on tv I thought he was just an actor.I never knew he had a music career,and damn good at.Country music radio is at fault for not putting it out there and promoting his songs.I've just starting to listen to him,some of his music was back in 85.I'm 61 and didn't have a clue,and an only country music guy.Sorry bout that!!
