What a legend, struggling with Parkinson disease and pulls this off. He actually learnt from scratch how to play a guitar and do this song especially for back to the future....They dont make em like this anymore....
From what I know, playing guitar actually eliminates Parkinsons or similar effects while playing, because the parts of the brain used for that are not affected. This is why Johnny Cash could play guitar without shakes. And its probably the same reason why those with a stutter have no stutter when singing.
Sat here with floods in my eyes... 38yrs old, reduced to (happy) tears. Even though his body couldn't show it, you know MJF's soul was ignited that night. What a legend 💜

Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest also has Parkinson's. If you really want to feel inferior, I suggest listening to one of the few songs he plays live with JP nowadays. Just search for him on RU-vid with "live 2019" in the search bar :)
@@jackoalltrades5510 everybody has seen Back to the Future, it's an all-time classic and if they put it on tv at least twice per year in my country (Italy) when I was a kid, and I'm 24, I'm damn sure americans in their 20s have seen it at least one time in their lives.
As a disabled person who may be limited physically compared to my playing days I’m not disabled in my mind and this shows you someone that will rise above and soar with Eagles.
What an inspiration MJF is for me and anyone out there who feels limited by any sort of disability they may have or for anyone else in general thinking they have nothing to offer the world. We all have a gift/s that we need to dig down deep to find and share with others. This is what truly lifts us up and others and will fill you with a love for life.❤

Every time that I see a video like this with Mr J Fox and one of my favorite bands from that generation I enjoyed immensely.. never criticize why? I don't know how to sing or play any instrument .. and with all that s happening in this planet and bad news and hatred .. for me having this technology if seeing and hearing is a blessing .. thank you

Sadly, it’s not ‘Parkinson’s... it’s ‘Aspartame’ (artificial sweetener) poisoning, which displays similar symptoms to ‘Parkinson’s. After years being ‘Pepsi’s poster boy & consuming copious amounts of their product..! But you won’t read about that in the paper..! Hmmm... I wonder why not..???🤔

No sólo es el enfermo, es su entorno quienes deben adaptarse a los cambios que produce la enfermedad; la rigidez, el desequilibrio, la depresión, la pérdida de la musculatura, el aislamiento social, y podría seguir describiendo está Enfermedad pero a pesar de todo, ver a este chico viviendo su vida al máximo con el esfuerzo que implica, es inspirador. I'm very impressed that Michael J. Fox despite his serious illness always has opportunities to perform and that he performed, sounds as in the movie. Great respect for each band, which allows him to perform live. I get goose bumps to see that.

Big respect to Michael J Fox that he can play the E-Guitar this perfect despite to his Parkinson disease. A family member of mine has Parkinson and I know how hard even the easiest actions can get when you have Parkinson. I'm deeply impressed!
My grandfather had Parkinson's and for him to even move in his bed was difficult because he had very little control over his body...and here we have Michael J. Fox braving the same disease the way he does. Not to compare the two but just to bring about the fact that Michael J. Fox is an amazing person. I am so inspired by this man.
Micheal J Fox is a legend. Especially for this real life magical moment. He gave us so many special moments over the yrs. What a talent! Not just in movies either.

My earliest moments were my dad waiting for the Back to the future movies and me. I don't know where my dad is now but I'll always cherish those memories, He was a smoke show and still is. I am in awe of him.
Every time I get discouraged with the guitar due to any situation, I come back to see this, it returns my soul in an incredible way. MJF has all my admiration.
