Your take on the song was exactly right. Definitely one of my favorites of his. Nobody but Jesus ever walked the earth that was sinless, and that’s why we need to surrender to him, which Johnny Cash did, not because he was good enough but because Jesus shows mercy to those who turned to him and repentance and faith . Good reaction and review.

The song is actually called 'Run on' loving his version! You may have noticed Lisa Marie Presley, her father sang it in 1966, much faster, but JCs version is edgy... Keep up the good work.

Johnny had recorded this but not yet worked out the vudeo concept or production finalization before he recorded Hurt. But Hurt went into production before this and, unfortunately, Johnny had no time left among us to finish this. The ptoducer conceived of the udea of asking some people who knew Johnny to listen to ut and let themselves be filmed reacting. Celebrities came out of the woodeirk in resoect fir the man in black The consolidation of those many reaction overlaid by Johnny's song ang the line, "... God called my name...and He saud, 'Go and do My will' tell...." the sinners of the world that Gid will not be deceived. They can run on fir a ling time but eventually tgat time runs out.
