@@WanderingWolf365I think maybe they can appreciate that he was an undersized underestimated quarterback that had some natural athleticism but one that in a sense no one really wanted, the girl he wanted to go to the dance with said no, yet somehow he managed to go transmute these physical and psychic limitations into the momentum to become a truly transcendent quarterback for a time who was more than the sum of his parts. It’s easy to write some off as just too lazy to make the next leap, and some people are, yet we all know life is actually more complicated than that, and we all know we all know this yet somehow-even with less publicity than Manziel-we’ve all felt this reductionism imposed on us by the world, family, loved ones, at some point We all can reach highs we’ve only dreamed of yet still be told by the world or ourselves it’s still not enough and we fear it never will be. Maybe they just hopes he’s doing ok because they want to believe we are more than the sum of our parts and magic isn’t fleeting it’s all around us always
