Shenzhen is a great city, it's so young and vibrant. So many people immigrated to that city for work. Shekou and Sea World were fun neighborhoods to hang out in. There's really so much to explore in shenzhen. I lived in Nanshan mostly, known for it's mountain. I loved seeing Futain at night, Coco park. The food was good, and the people were so nice.

My parents met in Shenzhen during the 80’s while working & studying there! My family and I just spent our Friday night binge watching your videos in our living room 💖 Thanks for making these videos. It’s amazing to see how fast Chinese cities have modernized & prospered. My parents would love for you to visit Guangzhou, their hometown ♥️ A lovely, diverse city full of culture & lots of delicious food

I studying for 5 years in Tokyo. I considered to working in Tokyo even the Japanese culture isn't suitable for me. But now I decided to working in Shenzhen which is the great city near my hometown after watched your Exploring in Shenzhen series. Thank you,Blindie. I think Shenzhen is the most amazing city in china. its the youngest megacity in the world, from a small fishing town with only 300 thousands population to a chinas most innovative and vibrant city with more than 10 million population. also the most inclusive city

I am going to Shenzhen in July for 6 months on an Au Pair program. I'll be taking Mandarin lessons then, but I am so nervous about the language barrier! Heyyy Blondie, I'm a Chinese student currently studing in Melbourne, its suprised to know that you are a Aussie, like your accent and video, and the way how you expericen and introduce Chinese culture. And one more thing is I recommend my hometown Fuzhou city in Funjan province. The climate there is quite similar to Sydney, and it's famous for it's beautiful greenary and parks. Looking forward to see your video inroducing my hometown:）

There aren't that many tourist attractions indeed, but you can buy ticket and go up to the top floor of 地王大厦, which used to be the tallest building of shenzhen for a few decades, and you can get a good view of the city skyline, and see the difference between shenzhen and hong kong across the shenzhen river. Also, the 深圳湾公园 is a good place to go for a walk or a bike ride in evenings. Hope you enjoy the stay in my hometown shenzhen!

smart for you to visit Shenzhen during its best season: southwest monsoon brings almost the best air quality in China. That's why you can see blue skies with huge clouds almost every day. Shenzhen's summer air quality is almost on par with that of Western countries. The air turns much worse when the monsoon turns northeast near the end of the year: haze/smog almost every day, followed by endless fog and gloomy spring days until summer comes again.

Go up to Guangzhou (canton) if you have a chance. It is a more traditional metropolitan centre of the province of Guangdong. It preserved some traditional local and western/colonial style buildings. It also has the best food you could try!
