Join the debate 🎤: making use of AI in journalisme, a dangerous inevitability? 

On World Press Freedom Day, Brussels universities VUB and ULB organised Difference Day and a debate about AI and its consequences for press freedom.
AI is changing the world and reporting about it. How does one know if a social media post or a video is to be trusted? Media literacy is part of the answer here. The good news is that kids seem to really want to know more about AI. AI tools can also be used to engage with the public, fact-check information, and educate users, making it a tool for independent journalism and against misinformation.
