I’m glad you enjoyed the evening Simon…I wanted a 2CV in 1964 when I had this of driving one to France and reasoned that if it broke down, anybody could fix it…but my friend Clive refused to come so it never happened. Bill Body of motor Sport fame rated the 2CV very highly as a design and he was my inspiration. I like the GR Yaris…mine would be in red with the soft gold wheels like Harry’s! I only like pre 1969 Minis…and original untouched is best. That blue one is overpriced for a standard car though…a better one sold last month for £16000 with total history and completely original in every detail from February 1960..but I’m not allowed to buy more cars now. There are many Tuscan Blue Defenders in Cornwall where it seems to be the colour of choice! Next time, take the Anglia or the Riley…do they need a bit of checking first though?? Happy Motoring!
