@TooCozy is it we’re me I’d do specific sets like EVO grand finals where Leo was playing insane even for him and focus on the harder aspects of Joker like how he used gun or the baits he used or advanced edgeguards and ledge traps

A lot of small channels are just lazy or don't want to put the time because they get no views/revenue. You are here doing a great job and I am happy for your success! Lemoenn well i appreciate that! and this is honestly something i’ve wanted to do for a long time (before ultimate) but i never could for one reason or another. and currently in life i finally had an opportunity to go for it so i just went all in! i was skeptical for sure but i also know how much works it takes and i really want this so I just try to be as consistent as i possibly can

Good video. Never knew about reverse gun offstage to cover low recoveries. And never knew you could ledge trump bair and still land on stage. Whenever I did it i would just airdodge back on ledge.

I sucked at edge guarding with joker before this video so after I went to my switch and sure enough I clipped Ridley with down gun and I got ‘em

I’ve come up with a decent ledge trap not edge guard but I thought this would be the best place to watch it but by short hop gun you can stay just outside of ledge attack range gun dash in for neutral getup/attack/drop double jump off ledge, double jump fair for jump, gun dash back for roll and punish with grab or another move. It’s my new go to ledge trap and I’m kinda proud of it cause I haven’t seen any jokers use it and I’m 13.

sometimes its better to not go for an edgeguard, and stay onstage to avoid giving up stage control!

Hi Cozy!! It’s always a pleasure watching your Joker videos and gonna lab some of these to improve my movement options for edgeguarding! Two questions though: 1) for the reverse gun, do you b reverse your gun or do you turn around before you jump? ( for me i turn around before i jump to stall my time in the air but i was wondering if theres an advantage to b reversing) 2. Whats your controller setup? I’ve recently switched to no tap jump off and my L button to jump so its been a little rough switching to new controllers but I’ve noticed the better aerial mobility with using this new setup!

I prefer to turn around before I jump but B reversing can be useful too for making your movement trickier, but this is more useful in neutral and advantage, doesnt really much of a difference while edgeguarding. And you got the same control setup I do! And you can take a look at one of my last videos covering controller setups too! :D

A go-to method for ledge trapping, for me at least, is to stand around the distance in which someone will roll into. This is to cover all options of the opponent (roll, jump, get-up-attack), which is great for pressuring. Not only that, if you just stand in the said position, you'll be unpredictable. *final note: use gun for chip damage, pressure, and/or gun-dashing. Do not use gun for zoning unless you're at a safe distance or position. I've learned that the hard way :(

if they recover high just wait onstage and punish their endlag, high recoveries are used as a mixup since they are generally not as safe as going low and sweetspotting the ledge.

falcon is one of the easiest to edgeguard though! he has no projectiles, and his recovery is very punishable! keep trying i know u can do it!

JcGoCrazy timing is key against Falcon’s recovery because you can either beat it, trade with it (which usually benefits us since our recovery is better and it semi spikes Falcon) or get grabbed in which case u can always tech unless at very high %s when it becomes an untechable
