Holding up the division doesn’t matter. The money is in jones having the belt. Either way, if he comes back to fight stipe or the winner of this, the stakes are higher if jones has that belt. It makes perfect sense to not strip him. Now of course, if it wasn’t a business and it was purely a sport, then yes he should be stripped and this should be for the legitimate title
