It makes total sense we spent 153 mill on guards. Canales said “we’re gonna be stubborn about running the ball” and something that’s plagued us since the mccaffery days is finishing at the goal line. Read the tea leaves dog this is a great move
We have the best back in the draft an he fits coach Dave Canales scheme very well actually the Dallas Cowgirls wanted Brooks so Carolina went ahead an took him away from Dallas smart move by Carolina an we play Dallas this season
The fact alot of football fans and even GMs haven't realized its not the RB but it's the o line that's making the plays happen, is astonishing. Always draft the top OL over a RB high..you can get a good RB from round 3 to 7
@@Sky_Blazehe's not McCaffery but look at the oline when he went for 1k and 1k. What about double trouble? Our line should be better now than both of those seasons though. Only thing I agree with you on is finding decent rbs in later rounds.
OLine highlight reel. If i’m the nation’s top RB out of high school, i’m committing to Texas immediately. This zone run scheme paired with elite speed would create a potential Heisman RB.
I love Brooks but he’s not Charles … very different runner and doesn’t have Charles scat back speed … that said, I’ve always thought he’s a more complete RB and an evolved version of Cedric Benson .ll
Looks like he’s good at everything, he’s shifty and fast enough to make people miss, he’s also fairly big he had some nice broken tackles. He’s also good at catching he had 2 one hand catches last year. Nice pick Carolina
Panthers fans: 1. This guy was on track for 1780 yards 2. He would be a 1st rounder if it wasn’t for his injury 3. He will be healed before training camp 4. WR1 in a class at pick 46 is insane value Now we can cut sanders and sign gilly, he’s going to be just fine.
its kind of unfair if u watch bijan first last year in your rbs evaluation, then u start this year with johnatan first, u will feel hmmm, kind of underwhelming. but if u watch the top 30 other backs (u need to go that far, cause blake watson is ranked 27th on nfl draft buzz, which is ridiculously insane, he is a top 5 rb for me), then u come back to johnatan, he is actually the most natural rb in this draft class. he is so much smoother and fluid compare to the other top guys like corum, benson, allen, etc...
We had a decent year with wilks when we pounded the rock. This is a great pick. Will cover up Bryce and the defense’s weaknesses too keeping them off the field
I'm from Texas and a day one panthers fan. I'm glad we looking to help take the eyes off the quarterback and keep the defenses guessing. Panther nation
@@Dh-is5ro you’re right, I’m more or less talking about his one cut ability, his acceleration after hitting the hole, his stride is almost identical to Charles also
We as fans gotta sometimes step back too we dont always see vision when we had bad coaches but i think D&D going to change this team identy is run first things to help bryce
He’s a good blocker, has soft hands, and excellent patience to allow blocks to develop … maybe not elite top end speed but he will be a great pick for some team …
how are people getting jamaal charles from this tape? this is not 4.36 speed i’d be surprised if he could run 4.46. looks like a good all around rb seems like it all comes natural for him but not no jamaal charles. also surprised to see a lot of people have this guy over trey benson.. benson looks better imo.
