Yes! EVERYONE wore shorts under their pants in the 90s. I remember dudes used to get in arguments and just start taking off their pants talking about “let’s settle this on the court! We’ll see if you’re running your mouth than!” 😅 Nothing a quick 1 on 1 to 10 won’t fix 😂. We still had the chain nets back than too so it sounded awesome when you’d hit nothing but net.

After watching the ‘Every Game’ background-info / seeing the pictures of Jordan in this video, it got me thinking Jordan Brand missed an opportunity in sleek storytelling style: it should have been one shoe with the red/white on the outside and the UNC blue should have been layered under: the inner lining, the material edges, the hidden bungees, maybe the tongue. They could have shown the story on top of telling it! Anyway, it’s still a fun release

I‘m totally in love with my Pine Green Air Ships…they are so clean! I went true to size and they are perfect. I usually fall into the wide-foot category, so ttz works great with the Air Ship.

Over in the UK the UNC pair were impossible to find, so had to go through resale unfortunately. But they're just the best shoe I've seen release this year. I always enjoy hearing your guys' thoughts, and especially your stories too. Epic review bossman
The tooling is slightly different to the 85 as well. The sole has a different shape compared to the 85 cut and the regular Jordan 1. The airship pe versions are awesome! Very comfortable and hold up pretty well without to much creasing. Don't get how loads of people are sleeping on these but don't mind it either. Being able to own a shoe that was basicly the prototype for what we now know as the Air Jordan 1 is definitely a vibe.
Tooling isn’t different from the 85s. Might look like it due to the upper on the Ships but it’s just an illusion. Agree completely otherwise. Feels like owning a relic.
@@WearTesters maybe I don't fully understand what tooling means(American/English is not my native language and I sure ain't as knowledgeable about sneakers as you are) but I'm talking about the part of the sole you walk on. The Air Ship, 85 and 1 all have a different shape in the middle part of the outsole. I've compared the pairs just to make sure.
@@ronaldvangulden7314 Tooling is anything that needs a tooling mold to create. The middle section of the outsole is slightly different that other 1's and we went over that in our original Air Ship review. The midsole tooling is identical to the 85 1's which is what we're referring to. The outsole is technically the same as well despite the small tweak.
I’m a size 13 wide-ish footer. I went TTS on the green pair and the UNC Every Game and they fit great! The toe box is nice and wide, which is what I need! Great shoe!
so glad you did a review on the dune red version...i managed to cop a pair online from corporate in cincy and i'm in love with them. i also wore shorts (And 1 every day) under my pants at school and even went so far as to wear breakaway pants (Nike had some really solid ones) almost every day of middle and high school. always be ready to ball

Also, I absolutely love the Air Ship! This is my second pair. Definitely TTS and I think they are more comfortable than the AJ1, though that might partially be due to the quality of the insole. Why this silhouette isn’t a bigger deal, I have no idea.
@@mainsourcery I have never hooped in either, but my hunch is that it would because of those elastic flaps around the forefoot that allow the shoe to form to your foot easier. And the materials used to make the Air Ships have generally been better too: better leather and better insoles, which are OG real deal polyurethane.

The shorts story is where it’s at. I use to wear them under jeans as well. Back then when the baggy jeans were you had to get the one with extra room. Hence came the tearaways, which I still own a few pairs. 👊🏽
To be honest I hope they keep the air ships made in small quantities bc the quality on these are AMAZING!!! and most people aren’t looking for these and in the resale market they are going under retail
I didn't think much of the Air Ship back in the day as a replacement for the OG AF1. The loss of full-length air was a major step back IMO. The OG AF1 also had different rubber, which resulted in outstanding traction. I like the look, but don't care for the lack of general underfoot comfort.
Guess what? You can get all four colorways (white/green, white/yellow and the every game models) in 3 or 4 stores here in Spain even under retail price because they are not selling. It seems that most "sneakerheads" around here do not know shit about the history of the shoes. But they still go crazy for any AJ 1-5 they can get their hands on. It is a pity
Overseas retailers can’t ship to the US anymore per Nike’s policy. It’s great for people overseas that want them but if we can’t get them from a retailer here in the states then we’re forced to use resell platforms.

Im a wide footer thats had to go up to 9.5 for dunks n jordan 1s. I could only get these in 9 my true size and i agree it’s better than the dunks or aj1 for wide feet. I could not live with tts for the others. The in sole is great as mentioned. I might double up on the reds… i kinda like their limited availability and somewhat lack of interest… much more unique in the wild

Hands down the most slept on shoe. I started with AMAs then the every game pack, next is soul goods.... Literally the comfiest low tech shoe you can own. Versatile with lots of fits. I'm actually happy people don't like them, I got both every games delivered to my doorstep eBay verified for 105$ 😊
My "shorts" story started back in 1980 when I was in the 4th grade. One day during recess we were playing dodge ball and I went to duck under a throw my pants split and everyone saw my undies. I was so embarrassed. My dad had to bring me another pair of pants and some shorts and he told me from now on, wear these under your pants just in case something like this happens again. I've been doing it ever since and I'm 53 now. I have a drawer full of shorts that I switch out of daily. Thanks Pops!!

I was lucky enough to get the Red Pair today out our local Nike Outlet for 60% off paid $70 AUD was so so rapt, they are a comfy good looking shoe and tbh its the 1st time ive seen these in OZ and today at our Outley they had a heap of the white's with a touch of light blue i think it was, but only ONE pair of the reds which happened to be my size so super stocked 😊 Love the review and history of these, thanks heaps 🙂🇦🇺👌
Yes, I would like a review on the Jordan 2 gray and light blue joints. I saw them at the Jordan store when I picked up the Jordan 3 Wizards and thought they were such a clean pair that I almost copped them but space and money limited me from doing so. Also, I knew MJ wore his UNC shorts under his regular shorts only because of the reference to them in Space Jam. Classic movie.

As a 90s kid, my shorts went on under my jeans so i didn't have to get naked outdoors once i got to the park. Once I started driving i just got out the car and changed outside. Didnt care by then

They are fantastic!!! I got these from a random ass retailer. The construction especially on the outside are great, so much better with the sail laces too. I hear the red is ironically more limited. Tempted to get the blues too
