In a genre full of ripoffs, remakes, clichés, and just plain shitty writing, this movie brings a much needed fresh perspective. I'm not black, but the storytelling, the perfect acting and the pacing definitely made a lone Black man's experience in the White Liberal suburbs accessible enough for me to understand the awkwardness, and then later the terror, Kaluuya's character experienced. And that "silent auction" scene was probably one of the most subtly terrifying moments I've seen in a horror movie, EVER!

The movie was amazing. 10/10!!

I've been seeing the ads for this movie for a while (who hasn't it's been showing before every video on RU-vid) and I saw the name Jordan Peele but I didn't know it was him til a couple days ago. I'm so glad that Jordan Peele is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Key & Peele are two of the greatest entertainers of our generation, both brilliant in their own right. But Keagan was winning all the awards for a while. That's like awarding everything to only half of Abbot and Costello or Penn and Teller or Siegfried and Roy. You gotta recognize the genius of both, and how they complement and play off each other, but how they both have immense talent individually as well. I remember listening to Peele in an interview talk about the intersection of comedy and horror three years before this movie came out, and I was excited as hell then, and Jordan didn't disappoint. Keep spreading the brilliance, brother. One love!

I am finding out there are some very good directors that are non white. Get out and Magnificent 7 . I seen both and I rate them at least B+ to an A . I like we'll thought out movies with action and suspence. A little spoiler a hand full of twist and a certain type of viewers may feel a little awkward as the movie Get Out plays out.
