They both agreed that there are secrets about them they can't share with each other which Jordan upholded. He didnt force her to tell him shit whereas when it came to her and Jordans secrets it was basically "tell me your secrets if not we're done" which reached its climax in this episode.
Good for Jordan! He may be hurting at the moment, but hopefully soon he realises how toxic Sarah was. He'll find someone so much better later on. The writers really killed Sarah's character in this season. I'm honestly saddened.
For Sarah's mindset, she thinks it is ok for her to cheat but no ok for her father to cheat on her mother. When Sarah's father took responsibility by breaking up with that woman, Sarah saw that as cheating is cheating but Sarah ended up picking up her father's behavior. So if Sarah blames her father for previously for cheating, then Jordan should earn the right to blame Sarah for cheating. Difference is Sarah still wanted to keep her female best friend while keeping Jordan. So Sarah have to realize that if she blames her father for cheating on her mother, then she has to blame herself for cheating on Jordan.

Never really did know how to feel about Jordan and Sarah. I always found them to be too much of the same person. Not that I was expecting Jordan to date a happy/cheerful girl or a popular cheerleader. Not that it should be taken 100% to heart, but we do have that saying of ‘opposites attract.’

That other Clark Kent did have a couples relationship with Lana but this Clark we see never even had a chance to start a couples relationship and that was all because of Kyle. That is all because Clark Kent went to see Jor-El and Lana decided she is tired of waiting for Clark. So that sure ended the idea for Clark to tell Lana his secret.
I need for the writers to have someone check her! It’s NEVER her parents. Whatever she does and however she acts they’re like “Aww, well you’re special and he doesn’t deserve you”. She is so self centered and always throws that Jordan’s life is “perfect” back in his face. They’re making it hard to like her, or root for their relationship.
Maybe that is deliberate. Just because your first crush agrees to date you doesn't necessarily mean that the relationship is going anywhere. Sarah has a lot of double-standards, like how she hates when people keep secrets from her, but she can keep secrets from others if she wants to.
Jordan's life is not perfect far from it he has the same struggles and problems just like her his parents fight they make up him and his brother fight and on top of all of that he has to keep this massive secret that his father is one of the most powerful superheroes on the planet while keeping his own secret of being the son of Superman and having powers that can put a lot of stress on a 15 year old
It also occurs to me that Sarah has been cashing in on her suicide attempt. Her parents are so terrified that she'll try again that they are prone to pandering to her anytime she acts even a little bit sad.
I know we are supposed to feel bad for Sara but she cheated on Jordan, then Jordan forgave her and then she wanted him and the girl she cheated on him with to be friends which...WHAT?! And now she she is like I want to be first with you which why when YOU clearly didn't do the same with Jordan. Honestly, this break uop is the best thing that could have happened to them.
When Sara's father cheated, he took responsibility by breaking up but Sara's way of blaming her father is cheating is cheating. At least Kyle made a choice to break up but the difference is when that female bartender hugs Kyle without his consent, Sara only saw her father cheating. So this meant when Sara's father is rape, it counts as her father cheating. Then when Sara cheats, she didn't want to take responsibility of. Sara has to realize that getting rape is different from cheating. Sara's excuse of cheating was it just happened. Other people can also use that same excuse too which don't justify cheating. So in all fairness, Sara was blaming her father for cheating on her mother and all along, Sara acted like her father all this time. At least in this episode Sara forgive her father because she realized that when she blames her father, she also would be blaming herself on what she did to Jordan. Normally, a person who is against cheating must not get a cheating behavior themselves. Sara still wanted to keep her female best friend while keeping Jordan. So Sara needs to ask herself this question, if she doesn't give her father a right to be with another woman, why does she give herself a right to keep 2 sexual partners? She needs to think twice before blaming others who have a same weakness as her.
I don't feel bad for Sarah at all. She make everything about her, alienates Jordan when she has family issues, never even tries to ask what he might be going through, and demands to be put first above his family. I feel bad for Jordan, but I'm glad they broke up. I'm really glad he didn't tell her the secret too.

Honestly, this is the only good thing and most hurtful thing Sarah has done on the entire show. She literally kissed Aubrey while dating Jordan than continued to hang out with the girl while still dating Jordan! And she says that he didn’t have enough time for her while she’s been with Aubrey.
Okay Sarah is confusing she can't talk about her family drama to Jordan but when it's the other way around then she dumps him wow. Well whatever Jordan has a good reason not to talk about it to her yet both of them have drama in their lives but still Jordan being the Son of Superman comes with sacrifices of being a hero himself one day.
Sarah outright explaining that she wants to be the number one important thing in Jordan's life made me hate her and also made me glad this relationship is over. Jordan wasn't lying when he said "family issues" because he literally was with his mother and grandfather. What Jordan is hiding from Sarah is the fact that he has powers due to his half-alien nature and telling her would also let her know that his father is Superman. If you all remember that Clark was uncontrollably angry due to the presence of Bizarro on Earth-Prime, Jordan actually listened to his dad about not telling his secret to his ex-girlfriend despite his uncontrollable anger.

Sarah didn't want to talk to Jordan about her family problems which I can understad. What bothers me however is that when Jordan pretty much reverse the roll of not wanting to tell Sarah about his problems and she gets upset about it.

This reminds me of the episode where Jordan wanted to share his secret with Sarah and his father was against it. If anything, it comes across as Sarah broke up with Jordan because of her father Kyle, who Jordan ironically saved earlier in the episode. I honestly think Sarah took bad advice from Kyle. I feel bad for Jordan when he's trying to help everyone he can, while Sarah breaks up with him because she is ignorant about Jordan putting the needs of others before their relationship. At least Jordan was trying to make his relationship with Sarah work without revealing the Kent family secret.

But Sarah could show a little bit of understanding towards Jordan considering how understanding he has been of her, yes about Aubrey and about her not wanting to talk about her parents with him. When Jordan says he's having family issues that he can't really talk about...she should be able to relate to that considering the mess her family was in season 1 and that was before her dad cheating came out. But she showed little concern for the fact that he might be going through something that he's not comfortable talking about.

The difference is that superman is a ticking time bomb for earth. If you read comics youd know that there are evil versions of superman from other universes and almost all of them have one thing in common. They turned evil and went on a killing spree because villains found out his identity and killed Lois. If his identity got into the wrong hands and Lois or his family ends up dying the world is fucked.
I'm sorry but he is the worst person for her to be around. He is the one who has been putting Jordan down and putting ideas into her head about him. Jordan was there when he was possessed, he was there when the town tried to turn against them and he was there when her dad was ousted as a cheater. He was projecting his flaws on to Jordy when he was the terrible one all along. He along with Sara are the worst characters at the moment.

I think this was the plan from the start. As this show is more grounded and less of a fairytale. It's more about family and learning how to overcome obstacles in life and the life lessons that come with it. Just like Lana Sarah is Jordans lesson. She is a phase in his life. I just hope they never get to a love triangle with Jonathan. I'd rather see Sarah go for the lesbian and end up like her mom. Cheated on while having to watch Jordan in a perfect relationship.

I remember in a earlier episode (i think a town fair) sarah went off on a group of guys about how she had family issues and not everyone can live a perfect life. She said things along that line a couple of times in the series. And every-time she said it i was just thinking “you don’t know whats going on in their life. They could be having just as many problems as you. And just not openly showing it, like you.” And thats the main issue with her. She dosent think about other people, about their perspective, dosent think they could have issues like her. Everyone else has a ‘perfect life’ but her. Woe is me. The more the series goes on the more she starts to remind me of sam from cobra kai. And the thing is i have no problem with this kind of charcter, let them be self absorbed let them be toxic. We all have someone like that in our life. My problem lies less with this charters existence and more how the tv show frames them. Im okay with them as long as their shown to be self-absorbed. Theirs consequences for their actiona And people call them out for the hypocrisy and selfishness. But so far everytime the tv series discusses sarahs issues, shes always in the right, shes always the victim. Oh you kissed another girl and cheated on jordan, well “if he doesn't forgive you than he doesn't deserve you.” like, what? Jordan and her first boyfriends (fbf for short now) situation is highly alike the only difference is how the boys reacted. Shes kissed someone else, continues to hang out with them and be bestfriends expecting current partner to be okay with it, slowly distancing herself from them before finally breaking up with them and if the pattern holds getting together with new person. She acts exactly the same, its just fbf acted like a toxic, immature, macho male, beating jordan up and bullying him and his brother. While jordan was a more mature about it, but just couldnt bring himself to hang out with the person his girlfriend kissed, which, yeah, reasonble.

Just noticed at 4:00, when Lois says that this isn't their Jonathan, for a change she doesn't raise any objections about Jordan taking the lead going out to face him. She's finally learning that Jordan can survive threats that she can't. So it's best to let him take point rather than demanding that he hide behind her.
I guess Lois can tell be instinct. Also Bizarro Lana is Kriptonian. I am sure Lois will know the difference if Lana Lang were to behave differently. Prime Lana is married to Kyle and Bizarro Lana is married to Bizarro Morgan Edge.

Then cries after getting dumped by a girl who cheated on him? Definitely poor writing considering the lack of consistency that his character displayed. The entire episode he was displaying himself as fearless.
Yeah usually when someone has communication issues in a relationship the people involved in the relationship actually talk things out and not jump straight to a breakup. When someone jumps straight to a break-up it's pretty obvious that the other person doesn't truly love the person because when you love a person it doesn't matter what's going on you support them you try to understand their point of view here that's the thing about love no matter what you are always there Sarah should understand that sometimes Jordan does have a lot of stuff going on it's not an indication that he doesn't love her. Even if he told her the truth that hey I'm Superman son and I'm super boy in training I don't even think that would even matter because Lana Lang knew that Clark was a Kryptonian in the show Smallville it really didn't matter because she still ended up hooking up with Lex Luthor
You did not watch the whole season of Smallville. You named what partially happened but you did not go to the story of when Lana makes her appearance last. Lana and Lex dated for a while in the mid season and forced Lana was forced to marry Lex but eventually both got divorced. That relationship did not end with Lana being Lex's permanent fiance. What happens is Lex forced the Kryptonite into Lana's body. Then Clark and Lana said their goodbyes. There were no fault situation break up. It was an amiciable break up. Both went their separate ways. There were no heated arguments. Lana just happened to leave Smallville knowing that the Kryptonite is stuck inside her body. Clark was hurt so Clark had no choice but to move on to the next woman who then happened to be with Lois.

TBH, I have been wondering if she was angling for an open relationship. It's not like people with divorced parents are rare (especially not in Kansas). As for Jordan, he deserves better and I hope the writers don't backtrack. Now if they could just write off the show that drug dealer Candice and let Jon fix his messy life...
What the show wants u to believe is that it’s A-ok for Sarah to be the way she’s being because Jordan actually IS being deceitful and secretive about something…but even if Jordan WASNT a half alien with Superpowers, Sarah’s behavior is STILL unacceptable, under NORMAL circumstances!
I actually think a lot of people would agree with you. I don't see a lot of people siding with Sarah, which is great because that means the audience has some sense on how a healthy relationship should be and their's isn't it.
This isn’t surprising given everything that’s been happening, but in a way this is good for them both. Jordan didn’t do anything wrong except be responsible and not blab secrets that he had no right to blab out. Sara cheated on him at camp, tried to force an uncomfortable situation and didn’t at least try to be understanding about it all. Sara was great in season one and I had hopes for them both to make it, but in the end Jordan deserved better
I always felt this relationship wasn't gonna work. It always felt like Jordan liked Sarah WAAY more then she liked him. The fact that she said he cant make time for her when she is constantly making time for the person she cheated on Jordan with is crazy.
@@emeerdanvers8090 Thats true! Thats how it is with almost ALL the CW shows. They start off REALLY great with good story telling then sooner or later (usually sometime in the second season) the show just starts to fall off.

Idk I don't think its entirely with this show because with Lois and Clark they both have self awareness when they are in the wrong. But the Lang family whenever they give advice to Sarah it is just bad and puts her on a pedastal.
This is how it is with the CW it’s always the man’s fault. I mean look at Felicity/Oliver and Iris/Barry (especially Iris and Barry). Even if the guy did nothing wrong and just hoes against what the girl wants, it’s always his fault
I think they will end up being back together Sarah will figure out why Jordan is constantly disappearing when she gets saved by him she will start investigating and figure out that this kinda thing happened a lot back when Lana and Clark were growing up in Smallville then suddenly stopped when Clark moved to metropolis and then superman suddenly debuted in metropolis
I was thinking the same thing Sarah would be in danger and Jordan would end saving her and Jordan and Sarah will get back together and she starts investigating like you said and discover that Jordan is Superman’s son and finally understand why he kept disappearing

This is for the best. Jordan is this Earth's Superboy now. Maybe the DoD can provide a costume? Sam was right to train him. He can do more, and do it more safely, if he is relying on training from General Grandpa instead of just instinct. As for Sarah, I think that she needs to sort through her own issues with her family, Aubrey and herself. Jordan has better things to worry about than a girlfriend looking to explore polyamory. I just wonder if Bizarro!Jonathan will get along with him.
