Def should’ve including the first significant strike from masvidal. Works really well with Roberto Durans advice. He set the rhythm with his footwork and as Diaz came in he planted and let loose a nasty right.

I completely agree that masvidal was tearing him up. But I think nate was waiting for the next 2 rounds to go all out. Nate almost never wins the first rounds.

Nate has not won a fight that went the distance. Couldn’t even win the 4th round against a gassed out conor, doubt he was gonna do anything against Jorge especially after taking all those body shots.

We saw these kinda of moves from Masvidal in his last fight with Usman, but Usman found openings anyway. He wasn't falling for his bs, and overpowered him too. Their next fight seems like Usman's to lose. Masvidal will have had to study Usman's patterns and come up with solid strategies along with this creative adaptability, and Usman will have to make mistakes, for it to come out well for Masvidal.
