I like the attention to detail with this series, notice that they actually took the time to show the character maintaining trigger discipline. No one has their finger on the trigger when just handling the new weapons.
Lakota39 totally agree. Plus little things like keeping weapons uniformity so members can share ammo etc are realistic touches that make it even better
@@yuukikonno6804 even so, you should treat guns as if they're loaded That shit would get you beaten up by your DI if you're in the military, or the range master if you're a civie
@@justanormaljugofmilkonthei2439 Not sure what kind of range master you dealt with, but an unloaded sweep could happen when the gun is being stowed or being put away. So long as you've safely shown the range master that you have FULLY unloaded it, there is no problem. No one is going to beat your shit for a slight flag with a proven unloaded firearm unless they were dropped.
exactly. instead of saying "these arent new guns" id be like "k, i get it that you want us to use same mag and ammo to cover each other, but what happens if that ammo isnt effective? like they got a bullet proof vest, or armor plate or something?"
@Ocean's Blue Then training kicks in and compensate. They're all professionals. Plus they're equipping the same gear as the military, the tools are adequate for the job.
@@steellionstrength2709 The P320's the way to go. All five branches are adopting them as the M17/18, so if you want to get good at pistol shooting on your own time, get a 320.
What makes her admirable and relatable, I think anyway, is that though she is a guns dealer, she has a fox like brain, knows how to hunt for the best deals, knows when to evade crappy deals, trusts her instincts, etc etc. She knows her weapons and she can USE them without blinking which shows she is supremely confident and is not afraid of guns at all. IMO, she is confident, charismatic and as this series shows, she is a hell of a leader, not a boss. It's why she's got all those working for her, *wanting* to work for her.
Jonah:get told to change position, presumably because he standing in the opening every damn time. Jonah: what??sorry I can't hear you over my plot armor
The only part of this show that really bugs me is many if the rifles they we’re using already took stanag mags So why this switch was so surprising to the crew never really made since
Gotta be honest, if I was them I would have everyone armed with FN 5/7s and P90s. For obvious reasons. Then you only have 1 type of ammunition (Albeit in different mags) not to mention the fact that with some half decent ammo, 5.7x28 can yeet right through most soft body armour.
the ss190 ammo in the pistol will happily go through Level 3A soft and below p90 will handle 3A hard once you reach true level 3 no chance that shit will stop a 7.62x39 and 7.62x51.

5.7s does yeet through body armors but they don't have much stopping power and some of their opponents are not using armor, since 5.7mm is focusing on penetration it would overpenetrate through human body without causing much damage, .45ACP can be an alternative for the pistols but .45s can take much space in your inventory so a 9mm is a good choice because its versatile, reliable and it doesn't take much space on your vest or any kind of pouch and about rifles maybe I would stick to the 5.56s rifles for versatility since P90 are primarily made for CQB and in this case Koko's crew is always having a trip so a FN 5/7 isn't a good choice for concealed gun because of its bulky design, Glock is better imo the main point in combat is having a good reliable gun that can shoot far and close, having the same bullet as your friend is a good idea but would you risk your life by sacrificing versatility and stopping power? I wouldn't give my friends 5.7s unless we don't have a choice or we are doing CQB Operation I love P90 but you gotta know where you are fighting, so yeah 5.56mm and 9mm is a better choice also 5.45mm is a good one since I love AKs

Previously they were using whatever they want, and in different calibers. The idea is to get them to use more modern firearms and share the same caliber. For the longest time Jonah was using a Browning Hi-Power (nothing wrong, just old), and Lehm had a Heckler & Koch Mark 23 (not bad, but not a whole lot of support because it's an uncommon gun).
it's a Remington ACR and NOPE she SHOULD have picked an HK 416 or an MP 7 but hay she went cheap and don't get me wrong SIG makes fine pistols but CZ and Glock have better options for the same price. i think they went with the P2022 just because that's the JSDF's chosen sidearm
i do Give this a lot of Credit it get's a lot Right but that's a Remington ACR (FANTASTIC RIFLE but failed commercially and didn't pick up any Military contracts that i'm aware of really a Shame) with Magpul Pmags and an Eotech 512 i believe a Solid choice to be sure but their are better options such as the HK416 the M4 platform PERFECTED and MP 7 Accuracy Concealment and the 5.7 is FANTASTIC for punching through Body Armor which is why it's a Favorite of the US Secret Service and is often in use my Special Operations a little disappointing that the show didn't use them
DTWesker No, it's the P320. The SP2022 is basically a "quiet professional" meme gun because it has the equivalent of the P229 SRT trigger and P229 reliability while being lighter and half the price. The stippling is ahead of everyone else because it's "neutral"; it doesn't snag on clothing but grips back while firing. It's a P22x double stack that is similar in weight and size to a G19 that you can afford to dispose of. You don't hear about it much because they put the big brand names in the DEVGRU PR shots. Maybe that's the point.
+ultrajd I think what Koko's trying to say is that just as they all have 5.56mm as a primary weapon, they'll also be having a 9mm handgun as sidearm. Probably for convenience, since they can just pass around magazines easily due to them being of the same type. And yeah, I don't get why Koko would issue a 9mm. I mean, she's a weapon dealer right? At least give them something with a .45 ACP or something...
Minato Namikaze I agree. Ammo interchangeability is always a good thing so I can understand why she's wanting everyone to use the same weapons. However like you I don't understand why she wants to have them use 9mm pistols. There's a reason the 45 slug is called "The man stopper"
Yes, 5.56x45 NATO and STANAG magazines. Designed by Magpul, this was ultimately manufactured as the Remington ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) to compete for a contract to replace the M4. Variants chambered in 6.8 SPC were also tested. Bushmaster made the semi-auto only civilian variant in 5.56, keeping the ACR name.
Handgun rounds are intrinsically small, and since they are doing close protection they need the capacity. The 9mm does come with other benefits too, it's common across the world, and they tend to fare better than 45 ACP against armour.
That's Wagner group, the Russian PMCs (Yes they use licensed Glock even Spetsnaz have those in their inventory even TMPs, MP5s and M4 copies). Western PMCs would most likely use M4 typed rifles
It's taught in certain situations, like in CQB or close protection roles, where the life of the person you're protecting is more important than $80 worth or magazines.
Not really. Many specialised soldiers make a point of not catching their magazines even in training so that when the real situation comes, they won't build up training scars (bad habits) where they try to retain the magazines. I can't remember was it Larry Vickers or Travis Haley, but that's the way it's done even in training. Habits we build on the range becomes carries into the gunfight, and if that's not worked out it will take up your time/attention, which could cost you your life. Quite often you'll double feed and end up ejecting a perfectly good cartridge. In a normal situation you'd pay attention to where the cartridge lands (so you can find it later) or even reach out to catch it - In a real situation even if you don't try to catch it, or spot where it landed, you are distracted for that second because you have a habit of trying to get back that cartridge. It becomes an automatic order from your brain.
357? That's a good choice for stopping power but I'd rather carry more ammo for my pistol and rifle for the same weight. This is the reason why the US Military replaced the 1911 for M9s because they can carry more ammo. More ammo equals more holes.
I'm surprised she didn't actually issue bullpups to them instead, having their nature of always moving around in vehicles and operate in close confined spaces? Bullpup has the advantage of being shorter than the regular rifle while having the same/longer barrels, therefore keeping the same bullet velocity. Steyr AUG, IWI Tavor, FN FS2000 are all decent choices. Furthermore, Sig SP2022 for a sidearm is a little bit weird since most, if not of them will be using it for concealed carry. That gun is definitely too big for Jonah and will definitely print on his small-sized body & shirt. Should've picked a sub-compact for that role, Glock G26 or Smith & Wesson M&P series. Any striker-fired pistols without the hammer to catch on the clothes, delaying/interfering with the drawing would be better. Probably issue a glock conversion kit like the Micro-roni or a sub machine-pistol (H&K MP5K, Kriss Vector, UMP9, Steyr TMP) that uses the same caliber/magazine for quick access without the need of dragging full-sized rifles around.
9mm... And I for one would like to thank the creators for confirming all the characters portrayed are homosexuals (or women) creating a sense of diversity and inclusion in anime.
