@LastRambo341 Theres a difference between tier whoreing and making the game interesting. You can stick to low tiers where the only options are jump in, combo, launcher, air combo, super. Or you can have the 20+ viable teams that have options such as false cross ups, tri-jumps, relaunches, resets, infinites (which all characters have.) Not to mention learning the high/god tier teams teaches you valuable skills you need in other fighting games.
Seriously, after watching these vids, I wanna learn how to do those unflies with Iron Man. Josh 360's IM is a beast. No homo but I kinda touched myself after seeing that UF+HP to unfly to guard break/rape lol.
He's using a MAS stick (P360 and happ convex I believe) the standard for american marvel. I personally prefer japanese. Just like people wonder how I can do these types of combos on japanese controls, I wonder the same about them doing it on those stiff ass american controls!
@xThunderxWolfx A blog..A personal blog. He's not giving interviews so, you can post it on a blog. If you were from SRK or an official gaming affiliated company, he would give you a good, honest interview. Even I wouldn't care for somebody's blog if I was in Justin's place.
@SoggyPizzaPockets1 Yeah which is a huge shame to the fighting community. Its like a chain once someone sees a person use the god tiers they start to use them and abuse them as well and this happens as if it was a cycle. And the reason why i said it was a shame because theres not much people who use mid tiers in tournaments and actually make it on top because of those common Gods tier users. Well to sum it up i hate to see the Fighting community not having a mind of their own.
@LastRambo341 sounds like excuses, if you don't play marvel, don't talk about it like you know about it. also, I imagine you couldn't even define netcode without Wiki. Been watchin too much DSP i think.
@itgmaster098 So evo 10 is your argument? Have you seen the other evo tournaments and how well he placed in MVC2? Ontop of that, look at the teams that are making it to to the 3. EVERYONE abuses God Tier characters at this level of play. Pretty much every tournament playable team has at least 2 God Tier characters.
@icyrazor It wasn't a personal blog. It was a small gaming blog. But alright. Not like he had anything better to do. I talked to him after he lost to DSP.
@xThunderxWolfx And what were you trying to do? Justin isn't a snobby dick. If you were screaming his name, he's going to ignore you. The man has a tournament to win not hang around all day and speak to fans.
@SonofGenkai18 *facepalm* First of all , I don't have an Xbox 360. Matter of fact, i have university to take care of instead of focusing on videogames. Also, online is NEVER the ideal way to do a challenge due to the atrocious netcode imposed by Capcom
@icyrazor Well if u ask me i think Justin is horrible he just abuses the God Tier characters and it showed that being cheap and going the easy way out to win doesnt always work from evo 10
@icyrazor DSP is a punk but there's no doubt that a few years ago he was one of the top ST players in the country. And yes, he has bodied Justin Wong in that and HDR a few times.
@LastRambo341 Listen dude... just by saying Magneto and Sentinel play is repetitive you have made it very clear that you are one of those scrubs that think using high tier characters is cheap... The same type of kid that refuses to learn the game in and out in order to play it well.... The type of kid I mop up with my MSP every day.
@itgmaster098 it sounds like you've never been to a tournament. If you pay money to enter a tournament you do everything you can to make you sure win that money back. including playing with good characters. DSP has played MvC2 competitively using "god" tier teams. Also, they hold low tier tournaments all the time... but no one enters them because low tier characters are boring. They got boring a year after the release of the game. you can be much more creative with high tiers.
@SonofGenkai18 You didn't prove anything. Saying BS in front of a monitor doesn't count as a "win" or "proving a point". You want a debate? Come in real life. Stop taking the Internet seriously.
@jsalgado00 the game is 11 years old of course people would no that most of the capcom cast are complete crap,To be honest i like mvc3 but that game is incredibly. 1.Hitboxes are huge that its nearly impossible to drop combos 2.Xfactor is kinda stupid, 3.why is do characters have no recovery time on moves.
@LastRambo341 Thank you for proving my point. Most people aren't actually able to see the depth of Cable, Magneto, and Sentinel gameplay. All you see is random viper beams, flying, and "cheap" infinites. It's sad really. go back to SmashBros kiddo. ;)
not so much an impressive comeback like wong's storm (ridiculous!) , but more just an impressive display of IM doing his usual rounds. it's true that as long as IM is alive, u are never behind (well for IMs with execution) storm is easily the hardest outta the top5 2 come back with. IM being easiest (depending on your opponent's IM exp/knowledge & if u got a hit). Mag can COMBO/reset a bit to death,Cable AHVBs,Sent has damaging combos/UBs but storm has to pull some srs shit for a true comeback
@SonofGenkai18 The ~6 top tier/used characters completely have more unique play than 50 other characters. Totally. It's people like you who don't want to learn unique styles of play. And before you even get your tailfeathers fluffed, don't even try to get me to play your stupid 360 XBL crap. I played it in an arcade, and on Dreamcast, like a real pro. DC was the standard for a reason-best arcade ports from capcom went to DC.
@LastRambo341 congrats on straying from the real conversation in an attempt to find something to insult me about after realizing that you are wrong and really can't see the depth of game play involved in high tier characters. Again, proving my point.
