They finally get to sing together this beautiful song (written by Lara Fabian & W. Afanasieff, and sung by Josh Groban in his Closer CD album. It's a dream come true for me and for so many fans :)
Josh is right....she has one of the best female voices in the world...too bad more people don't know her music. Even though she wasn't born here, we Canucks like to claim her as our own. Tres, tres belle. Love broken vow.
Canuckmom1958 she’s not that type of advertising her music 🎶 business like the others Singers do the most . that’s why May people’s they don’t know her that mush. Her voices is absolutely magnificent and very unique. Also She knows 5 different languages too.good luck to her. 💝💙💚💖💜💕❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏💐💐💐
Having heard Lara sing in this song -and Josh not tempering his massively strong voice, I wouldn’t know she has a beautiful voice. I guess he’s young here. I barely could hear her. Disappointing.
He does have one of the most beautiful, and powerful voices of all time. I often listen to him after a long day to soothe my nerves, and help me unwind. A lot of times he calms me so much, he can put me to sleep.
@@odettefillon2088 Hi Odette. You need to play it again. He clearly changes the tone and in doing so completely ruins this impromptu performance. A really nice guy but SOOOOOOO overrated! Lara handled the key change effortlessly but seemed taken aback.
I have been listening to Josh since 2001. He has one of the most amazing, flawless, and beautiful voices that I've ever heard, and he can soothe you to sleep. I've been listening to Lara longer than Josh because of this beautiful and heart wrenching song. I first heard it in my car two years after my divorce from my husband of ten years, and the father of my three sons. My situation was exactly the same as this song. I had left that man and after two years was still dealing with the pain. I had to pull over to the shoulder of the road because I was crying so hard that I couldn't see. I then listened to the radio until I knew her name, and immediately went and purchased the CD. The entire album is just as beautiful as this song. They recorded their versions around the same time, but hers was first because she co-wrote it. I then heard his version about a year later, and thought-Hey, this song sounds very familiar. I think the fact that it was a man, and not a woman singing it that threw me off, and I felt really stupid when I put it together. Both versions are just as beautiful, and heart breaking. Two of the most amazing vocalists of all time. ❣️
Amazing live performance with no auto-tuning, arrangements and that kind of crap that made artists become muppets. These two voices collide perfectly and that's why they deserve the recognition they already have from all of us, the audience.
If you understand the lyrics you apreciate better, but you can enjoy a song even if you don't understand the lyrics. Besides, although many french people don't speak english, many do and they might not speak english and they know the lyrics. Josh doesn't speak other language rather than english and he sang already in 7 languages.
Lara has just a competent voice I think, but they way she delivers the emotion of the song is really something else. Josh has a more stable powerful voice but even he had to pick up from Lara and follow her lead
I absolutely love them both and I love Josh even more than I love Lara, but she is a better singer than him. He is greeeeeaaaaaaaat, but she's perfect!
I don't like his voice is sounds all the same Frank Sinatra Michael buble. But Lara on the other hand is such an amazing singer such nuance and emotion in her voice as well.
