The EHX MIG-50 is a reissue of the Sovtek MIG-50 with modern enhancements to both the electronics and mechnical design. • Treble, middle, bass and presence controls

My first real amp was a MIG-50 that I got at Mass Street Music in Lawrence KS, for $400 including the vertical 2x12. I was 14 years old.

Sounds incredible. It sounds very detailed, crisp and bright, without sounding harsh or brittle. It sounds like it does that mid range, throaty, plexi roar very well too. Excellent demo review as always mate. I liked the little tip-of-the-hat to The Edge, very cool. All the best brother. Carlo 🎸👍🏼

I had one pre-ordered last year. I've gotten to mess around with it for a couple of weeks. By itself, it's a fantastic clean amp, or an excellent option for something with a crisp bite on its dirt channel. It takes beautifully to pedals, and that is especially true for dirt pedals, as Josh says in the video. I still love my other amps, but the MIG-50 may have become my favorite.

It’s a Fender Bassman/ Marshall Plexi architecture. Those were the amps available in that era. Fenders not available in UK, so Marshall did the Plexi.

Great jam I think I like that amp to I have a tube 15 stage right I like it I have just gotten a Rebel 20 egnater I like that to. Always love the bassman and amps that followed its engineering

Way many moons ago i bought a Mig 50 when they first came out and with my 4x12 Celestion V30 filled cab plugged my original Boss Metal Zone pedal into it and my Carvin Gibby Classic 57 equipt axe and was totally blown away, sounded like a totally hot rodded Marshall Plexi on steroids! The most brutal Marshall tone I have ever gotten out of any amp ever, and still my fav! So I bought a new one and it's even better cuz it can use KT66 pwr tubes and a few other improvs!

The description just says Fender replacement.....So the Bassman type amp and Fender style speaker makes sense.
