Pretty hard to duplicate Perry from his heyday. I've yet to see anyone come close and then when you ask any singer to sing in the same register, yeah, you're gonna notice it.

@James Wimer Then what did your question mean, as far as asking the commenter above you which band they sang in? I’ve watched Perry in his prime, and I know what he sounds like. He’s amazing. Age can be an excuse. I provided a link of a 55-year-old that seems to be doing well. The argument is always, “He didn’t have to lead a band for XX years.” Yet, no one takes into account that a background vocalist sings just as many shows, usually high harmonies. Additionally, side projects happen, too.
