Steve Perry was a drummer, but never played a kit during his tenure with Journey. Deen, you're a special talent, that taps into Steve Perry more than any other singer post Steve Perry. I wish all the shows have you involved are with Deen. Deen, is the best singer/drummer for Journey. No offense to Anysley Dunbar & Steve Smith, who were the corner-stone that shaped the sound, tempo, and tenner of--Infinity, Evolution, Departure, Captured live, Escape, Frontiers parts of Raised on the Radio/Trial By Fire. Having Marco is a plus!

Agree, we’ve all seen what Marco could do on Neal’s So Ü album. A pro of bass, a artistic singer and his Italian look fits perfectly as Neal and Deen’s brother makes me so happy! 😂
Nope sorry! Just got a couple tunes but didn't want to watch the entire show through my phone haha. The set list was amazing though! They did two full 90 minute sets. All the hits plus tons of deeper tracks, lots of jamming. I honestly was not expecting it at all.

I heard “I’ll be alright without you” was on the set list but Arnel never sang it live when they played it with him, it was usually the Travis guy, so I was curious of Arnel sang it this time, and did Deen sing mother father this time too? And yea I completely understand why you didn’t want to film the entire show through a camera, it would be better to experience it, I would’ve done the same lol

To my knowledge Marco Mendoza is temporary while Randy Jackson has back surgery. I am unsure if the double drummers is going to be a permanent thing or just for this show and Lolla. Neal just unveiled Deen's return the day before this show.
I've moved on from SP and accept Arnel in the band. Most of the time Arnel is spot on with the vocals but there are times when he "screams out of tune". Arnel save your vocals my friend don't get vocal burnt out. Almost every past singer for Journey has lost their voice singing for Journey.
