I installed the solid rubber, 8 inch front tire/wheel combo from Joyor (expensive though). My scooter now rolls much better/faster, and is totally flat-free on both front/rear. The solid Joyor front wheel is WORLD'S better than the first one I ordered from Amazon (but returned because it developed a flat spot), and it's almost an inch taller than the cheapy one from Amazon. Hope this helps other Joyor scooter owners!
Thanks for the great tips Jeff. Im thinking of buying the Joyor LR8 this week, how is yours holding up? Also, I will buy the solid front wheel as recommended. Ive hear it is $80. Thanks
Also, those sealed bearings need to be repacked with a QUALITY grease, not the cheap stuff they come with. I highly suggest using Mobil 1 high temperature synthetic wheel bearing grease. Using a small pick tool, carefully pry off one of the blue seals. No need to solvent wash out the old grease. Then, push the Mobil 1 grease into the bearing until all of the cheap, low quality grease is forced out. Reinstall the blue seal, wipe off any extra grease, and you're good to go. Hope this helps other Joyor scooter owners!
hey i have joyor e scooter is have S10 Y and have barings have problem how how can by because i dont know the size of the barings and from where i can by please i need help thanks
Hi Lorr craft, I was hoping you could help me out. I power cycled my scooter while it was running, I see now after reading the manual trying to fix it this was a dumb thing to do. I have contacted Joyor but they aren't much help, my scooter doesn't run and I can get it to display an error message, any idea if what the problem could be? It turns on but won't go anymore.
Hey there, I would try opening it up and looking at the individual components. Check to see if anything’s fried or if you tore a wire. Your best bet is that that something is brain-dead or not connected anymore.
