JRP 14in1 multigauge Landcruiser 80 series aftermarket gauge

Run over the install and features of the JRP 14in1 multigauge I fitted to my 80 series Landcruiser 1hz turbo. Install was pretty simple and everything came in the kit except the fittings needed to fit the sensors to the 1hz motor. I explain the fittings I used and locations I installed the sensors on my motor.

Hey mate epic video used alot of your ideas, just need to hook up the egt and il be finished. Iv got a red back exhaust as well on my 95 ft they should have the same bungs in the dump, what was the thread on the red back dump you used? Cheers legend

I used the plugs that came with exhaust and drilled it out and tapped 1/8npt for the EGT probe

Very informative video, 'borrowed' a few of your ideas!!. I've just bought one of these too. Where did you find NPT taps in Australia?

Cheers Michael, happy a few of the ideas are helpful. Total Tools can order them in, most hydraulic fitting supplies shops should have a NPT tap they may help you out if your buying some fittings from them.

@@tinkeringtimmy4061 Thanks for replying. TBH, I have 'borrowed' quite a few of your ideas - they are very helpful for a novice. Yea Total Tools wanted $77 for a 3/8 tap. That's a lot of coin for a single hole! I wanted to support Aussie made but that $ has made me go eBay chinese.

Is the gauge and all the sensors holding up well? Looking to up grade for my patrol

Hey Mark! They are mate, have had this installed for about 18months before the video so I could give an honest opinion and had no issues in that time. Couldn't recommend this setup more for multi gauge monitoring, sensors are quality and accurate, proven true with infrared thermometer, they also are quick to respond when driving conditions change and the warning setup side of the unit is excellent. Price also is a winner

Where did you space the wires in to on the 80? Have to same just curious where you wired in to

For power to unit I used an existing battery power source I have run through the firewall. Ignition source I found a unused ignition feed in the passenger kick panel. Headlights from the headlight dimmer switch on the dash. Don't forget the 80 has an AUX power feed box tucked in behind the airbox which has 12v and IGN power already fused

M16 is the aircon cut out switch sensor fitting size. I just took the sensor to a hydraulic supplies shop and they sorted me out.

Just a crummy American here but is there options on the gauge to convert to Fahrenheit

Yeah mate its fully customizable. You can have KPH or MPH if speedo is connected, PSI or KPA for pressure readouts and Celsius or Fahrenheit to suit your needs.

@@tinkeringtimmy4061 You're able to run any combination of the three? The one I have is only letting me select from two predetermined sets. Kph, PSI and Celsius. Or Mph, KpA and Fahrenheit. Being a brit, I'm awkward and work in Mph, PSI and Celsius. 😅
