Funny you mention the importance of enabling assets over shooters. Without getting into details, I was an EOD guy and I remember how I was unwillingly treated like royalty by the guys I was attached to. Like I was the main effort. It was humbling, especially with the guys I was a part of.

6:04 Wild, to think my older brother, Weapons Mst.Sgt. 2nd.Bttl. 3rd.Grp. Army [Ret.] sent me pics of him standing in fron of NA, local Afghans, probably close to 20 or so, from the picture, they all have AK47s, ans he's training them how to shoot, more competently, maybe for their some their first time even, but I'll have to sit down and chill with my brother and see about getting a 1st person perspective. After his tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, he went on to work with CIA, still as a Sgt./Mst.Sgt. in Libya.. Pretty wild experiences without a doubt..
