Facts but they legendary to us here in Charleston, SC too... 2 Live Crew, Poison Clan and Jam Pony did their part to make us feel proud to be from the South, and when Trick Daddy & SlipnSlide came thru it kept us on our High💪💯💪💯
Before Wu-Tang Clan, there was Poison Clan. Before Make It Rain, there was Shake What'cha Mama Gave Ya. Before New Orleans' Who Dat catchphrase, there was JT Money's 1999 classic Who Dat. JT Money changed history without being noticed, but I know he started which everyone's sleeping on. Word to the B-Izer, J-One, J-Baby and the one and only: JT MONEY!!!!! This interview is the truth!!! He's still one of the greats from the South along with Scarface, Willie D, Big Mike, MJG, Bun B and Big Boi. Real talk.
Hands down to the interview with the legendary MC from the Miami/South whom never gets talk about and gets any recognition and ALWAYS become one of my top lyricists forever: JT MONEY!!!! Thank God I still listen to all of the Poison Clan music and the Miami icon Luther Campbell for putting him on the map. No one didn't ever know about the beef between Luke/Dr. Dre beef back in the day, but I remember that. JT is the 1st OG Thug rapper before Trick Daddy. Other rappers from Miami/Orlando like MC Madness (RIP), Kidd Money (RIP), Disco Rick and Thrill Da Playa (69 Boyz) never get any recognition as rappers. If you grew up with them rappers back then, honor them and give them props while they were here or not here. REAL TALK!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
@@claytonstarrjr9788 I'm from da dirty myself born and bred down here in da bottom pac was born in the dirty too either him or his mother if im not mistaken.. .Carolina panthers .. .

JT is legend. Man this interview made my day! The first interview I saw with JT was in 1992, on public access TV in Miami, lol. I think it was him and Uzi, lol, I gotta dig that shit up, I might have the tape somewhere around here.
💙📼This Interview...Shout out 2 B.Hive..Shout To King Of His Thing JT Money...im 44 and was listening since a teenager Poison Clan🕶🙏💪Reminds me of my Uncle Rip if he was a Rapper already was a Gangster
I remember when Dance All Nite dropped and was Bomb. Then Shake What Ya Mamma Gave you murdered the dance floors and house parties. Then just when I thought the ride was over, JT came back one mo time with that Who Dat and reclaimed his crown yet again. Dirty Yall!
A JT Money & Hitman Sammy Sam album would be 🔥!!! Dade County Miami & ATL Zone 3 (MIATL) together. They both did tracks with Kilo Ali. JT Money & Hitman Sammy Sam are the two originators of the South that did not spit ABC rhymes. They both have just as much credit in representing the South from the beginning as: Scarface, 8Ball, MJG, Playa Fly, Tommy Wright III, Gangsta Nip, Al Kapone, Royal C & The Hard Boyz, DJ Kizzy Rock etc.
True. Every region in the South had their own lane- a combination of their environment and individual style and rap influences. Poison Clan, Luke 2LiveCrew, 8ball and MJG, Ghetto Boys, Outkast, Goosie Mob, Do or Die. Times are different now. No matter where you go in the U.S. the songs that get radio play are all Trap? Drill? I don't know. Underground stuff you might hear that is different gets no attention. You gotta search for it yourself via the internet or travel.
Need to watch whole interview this is history. From NY want to kno more about Mr. Who dat. JT , Trick , Trina, Sole, MIA man we loved yall up top too. Oh yea Luke got the girls NASTY 😆 I wanna rock I wanna rock
I love the host of this show. I don't know exactly how to write his name (B high, Bee high) and he fills a very important and largely forgotten part of this hip hop shit. The South. Who else is interviewing JT $, Big Gip,MJG and such. Only objection I have is the term "down south" legend or "west coast" legend. Legend. Period. When Rakim or KRSONE r introduced they don't say "east coast" legend. The say legend or hip hop legend. Other than that I love it. Hearing from theses less exposed artists is interesting and important.
Kicked with JT and Vido No Shake for the weekend for a Fathers Day car show in Wildwood Florida. Had em both riding round in the vert. Solid ass people. Much respect JT. RIP Tommy from Don Diva Magazine
To me something about the Pimpin with too short was the hardest shit he ever made,I can’t see how he didn’t talk about that and the Collaboration with the towns legend and the best to ever do it. And it’s town Bizness Oakland California Too Short the great.
I met JT Money while I was out with my family at a hotel outside Atlanta while we're sitting down eating breakfast. He was sitting to my right in front me he had somebody with'em, I told my wife there go JT Money from Poison Clan. I wanted a picture with'em but didn't want to bother him. Action is my favorite Poison Clan song.
