Judge declares mistrial in Karen Read murder case 

The video provided by law enforcement was actually reversed but the timestamps were not. How does that happen unless it was tampered with? Somebody went to some trouble to make alterations. That department needs to be investigated and any other questionable cases should probably be examined.

She seems too casual about all this. Considering how severe the charges are. Plus, I'm convinced that O'Keffe wasn't really a bad guy. He took in his neice and nephew after his brother passed. Even though he didn't have to. A lot of evidence I've seen points to her guilt. Including the speed of the car and previous conversations she had with the guy. But her defense attorney is trying to direct the narrative elsewhere.

I started watching this trial with zero background information and no bias for or against police, the prosecution, or the defense. I live on the opposite coast and hadn't even heard of this story. I was very quickly convinced of a few things based on the evidence and the conduct of the individuals involved in the trial.... 1) the investigation was mishandled in a shocking way. 2) common sense, and the evidence shows John Okeefe was NOT hit by a car. 3) The people who handled the investigation should be held accountable. 4) the judge was clearly struggling with some personal biases. 5) the verdict form was confusing and likely contributed to the hung jury. 6) the defense should have made it more clear to the jury that a not guilty verdict does NOT necessarily mean there was a cover up. 7) the DA NEVER should have pursued this case because the evidence contradicts thier theory and the investigation was mishandled. 8) Karen did drive under the influence of alcohol. 9) It's scary that anyone would convict someone in a case like this.

This is what happens with innocent fraud cases.

It’s ridiculous that they act as if they did something so worthy of fake smiles and hugs…truth be told is they’re flat out pissed that their theory wasn’t believed by all jurors !! That high dollar LA atty really thought his drama behavior had the jurors convinced! When the jury didn’t come back with a verdict at the end of the first day of deliberations, that LA drama queen atty was already pissed ! The entire Defense, KR and all the Karens out there know damn well the jurors did not buy all the bells and whistles!! I don’t know. I trust the jury system, and the jury doesn’t unanimously know. But some of them found enough reasonable doubt. Frankly, one way or the other, this traces back to this obviously corrupt police department. Btw, you will never find anyone as supportive of the police as I am.
