The man who Jumped a Judge during his sentencing for assault has been given his new laundry list of charges. The local News station is trying to portray the man as a victim of his mental illnesses and "THE SYSTEM." Stick around and roll your eyes with me, as we break down why he was in court to begin with, what his charges for his original court case were going to be, and what his new charges are after jumping the judge.

His family was interviewed after the attack. His sister said some ridiculous things, 2 really stood out. She said "He was born with crack cocaine in his system, he never had a chance in life" then IMMEDIATELY followed that up with "He has been in prison and doesn't get a chance to spend time with GOOD people like his family". Lady, if your mom took away his chance at a normal life, she is not a good person. The second ridiculous thing was that she said "Now he's going to prison where they don't know how to deal with mental health" immediately followed by "he hasn't taken his mental medication since he left prison". DEAR LORD. Sounds like prison was better for his mental condition than being out.
@mtmadigan82
@mtmadigan82 6 месяцев назад
This isn't all that surprising. When you watch the families explain, sincerely, the reasons for some wild crimes. 1 dude shot at a bunch of cops, he got shot and the body cams caught the whole thing. The mom came out of court saying there was no gun, they were lying about him shooting at them. Her reasoning? If my son shot at them, they'd be in the hospital or dead. None were, therefore he couldn't possibly have shot at them. Then said the video showing him do it was just CGI, not what actually happened.😂

For the medication and prison's dealing with mental bit sadly i can personally attest at-least in my experience its true. Its really hard to get people with bipolar to take their medications once they are off of it because of the paranoia caused by Bipolar Disease. And prison's do not have the correct programs for treating Bipolar Disorder. It sadly does result in bipolar disorder people who dont get diagnosed and sent to a prison with mental health services to effectively deteriorate as a human being. Its a horrible and nasty disease to watch take root in someone

When Charles Manson was in court, he tried to attack the presiding judge, the Honorable Charles Older. I'm not sure exactly of what happened except Manson was retrained, but before WWII, Chuck Older was a marine, and in WWII he flew P-40s with the American Volunteer Group and P-51s with the USAAF, and was a double ace as well as a combat pilot in Korea. He had a few thousand people shooting at him trying to kill him for years, guys with machine guns. I'm sure he thought Manson's hissy fit was cute. Too bad Chuck didn't just shoot Charley but hey, I'm sure the bailiffs tuned him up. RIP Chick Older, 1917-2006, USMC, AVG, Lt. Col USAAF, Judge, and good man.

Compare it to dodge ball. If you had pelted the mail man with dodge balls while he's trying to get his work done, that might be assault. But if you challenge him to a game and he accepts... well, clearly you can't be putting him in fear of getting injured by the dodge balls, since he signed up for that! A rubber band can hurt less than a dodge ball, so if we accept that you could play dodge ball with him, then we also accept that you could also play a rubber band battle with him if he consents to it.

My focus in college (mental health degree) was schizophrenia. I'm not saying they don't have outbursts... they do, but USUALLY the ones Ive dealt with always tended to be loners. I had one female threaten to off me because she knew I was having an affair with her bf, and that my 3 yo son was his illegitimate child. 😳 She never actually did anything, just very paranoid and delusional. There was another young man who was actually a sweet kid. He was quiet and polite in groups or even one on one, but let him stand off by himself. Good lord... the poor kid would scream at his voices, talk about incredibly graphic and vile things, but never once did any other person (that I saw). Im guessing most of his aggression would fall under his bipolar diagnosis. Now... if he's been institutionalized before, I can't imagine he was a delight to deal with... and this is 100% speculation on my part. He lied for the schizo diagnosis and was given bipolar because of his previous actions and current outburst while in their care. I bet money hes ODD and or antisocial personality... Either way... hes either deliberately not taking his meds, or * surprise * they don't work... so he needs consequences for his actions. Many prisons were never equipped to deal with mental disorders but most of them have mental health available in their facilities. Enjoy the alligator suit!

I am veteran, and an RN with over 30 years of healthcare experience. I also have a bipolar Schizophrenic 24 year old daughter. You made jokes about people with these types of mental illnesses" having" to beat up people" while I get the point you're making. Those people have little to no impulse control when stressed out. HOWEVER!!!! they still need to be held accountable and the public at large needs to be protected from their poor impulse control. These acts need long-term "rehab". Sadly, the legal system doesn't want to take the needed steps to protect the individuals and the general pulbic from people with real and extensive mental health disorders. The slipping through the cracks is the legal system not dealing with mental health, the whole system needs an overhaul. Love you brother.
