On December 6, 2014, in a ceremony performed by five Tibetan Buddhist monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery in India and serenaded by the flute of legendary Jazz musician Charles Lloyd, Judith McBean's ashes were scattered over the Mora River on her ranch in New Mexico. At the time of her death on November 24 she was receiving spiritual support and prayers from monks all over the world, including the Dalai Lama.
This video was originally made to be shown with others at her memorial.
The first photo shows Judith with her grandfather Atholl McBean and sister Sheila on horseback visiting Larry Harris and his grandchildren at Woodside. Shown are Caroline, Ann, and Nicky. I was there that day, September 9, 1949, at a family gathering celebrating my grandparents fortieth wedding anniversary, but at only fifteen months old i was not permitted to approach the horses.

Compelling, magical, etherial Judith and precious daughter Natasha ~ In the mid 70's Judith and Natasha lived in a cabin built by Jaime D'Angulo named Los Glorious. I lived nearby in a cabin built on the top of Partington Ridge close to D'Angulo Trail and the Hopkins'. Charles Lloyd and Giles Healey were neighbors...
