You're a very good sparring partner, people sometimes forget that randori is not competition. It's a time to allow yourself to test your technique against resistance, but it's good to give back to your partner too and allow them to grow and get some offence in too. Lovely judo.
Im a bjj purple belt that does alot of nogi wrestling, but god damn lately ive fell in love with some judo throws and have been trying to drill daily uchimatas and harai goshi combinations. You make them seem so effortless and I have slowed down the video so much to see your footwork, thank you so much Mr. Dom.
I’d love to see a breakdown of your uchimata, how are you able to get that lift on your uke so consistent. Or is that just a practice makes perfect thing? Love the videos, keep em coming
Not sure if your ukis were mainly bjj players or not but a couple had that really aggressive ashi waza tendency to basically just kick your leg and hope it results in a sweep lol always end up covered in bruises from ukis like that
