Vovinam was invited during the French colonial period and it was one of the keys that drove the French away from the country. Vietnamese people are smaller than most Asians and some of the martial arts like Kung Fu or Wing Cha required the specific height to achieve the techniques. Vovinam helped with that disadvantage. It is known for acrobatic moves
i wouldn't refer to vovinam as kungfu since it's not just a mix of chinese martial art but also korean, japanese and the folk martial arts from vietnam
1.Judo-seems like a simple form of technique to slam the opponent body on the ground 2.Vovinam-seems like a combination of both hurting & slamming your opponent towards the ground… -I’ll choose vovinam since it has a combination of a lot more as punching, kicking, elbows, throwing & so on
Coming from someone who's trained judo for 7 years the throws that were shown are only techniques that you will only see in competitions, judo has lots of strike and wrist locks and choke just like how Brazilian jiu-jitsu does, don't get me wrong voviam is still effective. I just thought everyone should know judo is just as deadly
I love how in vovinam you fluently transfer from strike to throwing motion. Also, how you deal with kuzushi by beginning with these elbows Are you teaching somewhere?
@@darkmustang no, I did a few other martial arts, but not karate, however I appreciate it very much. I've met one military combative instructor, who claimed he based his system on VVD, and he has learnt from certain Vietnamese master. Now I train with guy, who's going to become his student and instructor of this system and I consider both this style and VVD itself very impressive and useful
@@szymong312 yes it, actually this martial arts is efficient for mma and street fight. Or military fight. I used go pratice my technique ar tristar gym mma. And it s work. Sure for improve in this martial u have to get strong legs. And use the flow. That s why it s not so easy. Thx
It dépend the situation. I just make a short video. In real fight I do grapping if the oponent catch me. If not I prefer intercept with my techniques. If no choice I can block and answer with my albow exemple.

Vovinam phổ thông thì chỉ mang tính chất phòng thủ thôi đã toàn sát chiêu rồi còn truyền cho quân đội thì nhất kích tất sát là tổng hợp của rất nhiều môn võ cổ truyền
lòng vòng cuối cùng vẫn là 1 môn sinh cổ truyền, còn nhất kích tất sát thì chỉ có thể là knouckout trong đối kháng chứ tự vệ rất khó và cũng ko nên sử dụng những đòn quá nguy hiểm trừ khi phải hành động để bảo toàn tính mạng
