There is a very good reason that Judge Judy and Judy Justice has always been the top rated show of this genre. Because she - Judge Judy - is ultimately in charge even though she obviously has to have many people who snap to and do her bidding - SHE is the one in charge and doesn't stand for slip shod, less than precise, perfect production values. It is a testament to her personal as well as professional integrity that the show is as good as it is and why all the rest? Are only "also rans". The shows are wonderful lessons for us in how to make clear, pragmatic decisions about people and legal matters and if one pays attention teach us how to avoid the stupid pitfalls that the shows reveal people too often fall into by being lazy and disingenuous. That's why I watch her and why I admire her.
I agree Judge Judy has plenty of experience. However, if the case is about a pit bull, it's a bias resolution. She refuses to listen, her way or no way!!!!!!!
She's the best but her more recent shows get more and more sexist for men to pay when women are not held accountable. Also, she used to scold people for having many kids on welfare and doesn't ask anymore. I think she's worried about drawing lawsuits she's gotten a few of ..but it's a shame.
First case - so happy the plaintiff came to court prepared. Wish she had her court fees invoice with her as well, she deserves every penny. That girl in pink is disgusting. And funny how she no longer had anxiety and her bouncing issue once she started getting caught out for her lies.
the defendant was so ghetto.. the only one worse lv seen on judge judy was the woman who denied her pit bulls responsibility saying "my dogs was in the yard.." when there was a video showing she didn't train her dogs at all.. they were jumping back and forth over the fence attacking a little, white, fluffy dog, ripping it apart.. it was horrific footage and the woman's denial irks me to this day.. she had an awful son too.. "that's cute" with the same mouth and l doubt they are alive still.. if they are, l hope they hav made restitution to that other hispanic woman, whos dog was brutally killed because of their recklessnesss..
Idk how Judge J deals with people like that girl, who stole the wigs! Her clients don’t come to get their hair done anymore, because they probably found out what type of person she is.

Suing your father...I can't even imagine. That's just a sad situation. The daughter looks like a deer in the headlights...Something is definitely off there. The shaking and blank stares are just odd. Neither will ever be able to forget that they went to court because of a mattress and a necklace. I just hope that one day they can heal from the damage that's been done and get help in the process. She looks wounded so it's hard to judge too harshly, but suing your own father??? I could never wrap my head around that fact...Just awful 😢😢😢
I totally agree It was so obvious that the defendant was lying. She’s a real lowlife. But there is no real punishment cause the show pays for everything

Young girl and dad case- this younger generation and their lack of effort and entitlement is insane. At 20 I lived alone, worked 3 jobs, and provided for myself. It's sad that we don't see that these days. It's rare.
Your inability to see the signs of him abusing her severely in their mannerisms is sad tbh, but that's kinda more or less a boomer thing to dismiss the clear signs a young person shows when there's an adult manipulating the situation with his so cool, collected, mature, fully developed frontal lobe nature in the same room.
She's not jump in her body because she has anxiety she's stubborn and she is going to do whatever she wants, I can see her moving her leg she must have restless leg syndrome that could be possible but there's medication for that, and when you have restless legs syndrome it's only your legs the ones that moving not your whole body

Why do I feel sorry for the young girl suing her father? Not that I condone them suing one another, but that girl is lost. She needs counseling, not to mention so does he. They’re a dysfunctional family, and she’s a neglected and abused child. Father is a narcissist . Gee when my children left on good terms they’re given everything I bought them. My son left on difficult terms the last time at the age of 32 , he took his property and took my laptop without permission and never returned it. He was 32 , refused to work and thought it was my responsibility to provide for him and put up with his friends visits at 3 am. Doesn’t fly, with me- she needs rehab she has issues. From personal experience and from a psychological point of view I can assure you that the first sister would hardly be considered a nice person. ANY sibling who repeatedly refers to the woman who gave birth to two sisters as HER mother is entitled, narcissistic and selfish to the core. I commend the second sister for not appearing angry or bitter and not having mentioned how difficult a time she must have had growing up in the same home as such an entitled sister. I would have had nothing further to do with her either. I hope the defendant celebrated the "funeral" of their relationship.
I thought the heavier sister had a bit of jealous attitude toward her sister that offered her a place to live. It was not a nice move to bring in a friend that didn't get along with that sister Plus that friend looked as though she likes to make trouble

I felt the same way at first. But I like JJ and I use these videos as if they were podcasts. I listen to them while I work around the house. It works. Ps I have an opinion that the channel host does this to avoid or deter detection by copyright bots. They are obviously stealing JJ’s copyrighted material and the little figures in the corners, the super zooming in on faces, and the home movies laid in at the end probably either throw the bots off enough or meet the requirements for fair use by not using direct original content.

We need to get back to teaching the basics...How to behave in Court is a BASIC. What have these schools been teaching the past 2 generations??? We had whole mock trials and everything in Middle School for the sole purpose of teaching us how to behave in a legal proceeding....MIDDLE SCHOOL. People don't even care about their attire these days when appearing in court. We have no human dignity left on the whole. We just have decided we're going to go out the world ass backward just because....NO REASON...just because. We have failed two whole generations because we don't want the confrontation of trying to impart REAL WISDOM and PRINICPLES and STANDARDS.
