I definitely recognize some of Conan's mannerisms in Seth, especially in these cooking segments. Seth is doing great!

LOL Seth is the best at these bits! Jimmy and Conan.... for in-studio bits feels like they're putting on a clown act. Seth's a natural. :)

Do you still get all the fiber with juicing? If not I dont see the point. Sugar is sugar no matter how you consume it. Soda sugar and fruit sugar is the same but the difference is the fiber

Yeh I don't like juicing because you're just stripping away all the fibre and leaving behind all the sugars. If people want to eat healthy can't they just make a meal with all these ingredients? I suppose you would only make juices if things are about to go off and you don't want to eat them...

The purpose of juicing is to concentrate the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy oils and other beneficial phytochemicals. Blending is good but you don't get the highest concentration of all these nutrients but instead you can get bloated on all the fibers. Especially for fighting disease, you can mega-dose on all the other beneficial nutrients when juicing but would get bloated on all the excess fiber with blending. And besides, raw vegetable juice still has a noticeable laxative effect even though it has less of the fiber, and it still does have some fiber in the form of pulp and soluble fiber. Fresh raw juice (and also smoothies) actually activates the metabolism and helps you lose weight and increases insulin sensitivity. Basing your juice on vegetables rather than fruit reduces sugar.

@@iwantwatermelon23 The idea with juicing is to extract the RAW nutrients, antioxidants and enzymes for the most potent medicinal and nutritional benefit. Would you be able to EAT a whole stalk of RAW broccoli, a bunch of raw kale and carrots? The hard fiber would be impossible for most people and would be too much even if you blended it into a smoothie. Juicing concentrates all the RAW phytonutrients that fight disease in so many ways. Blending raw smoothies is also good but you eventually get overloaded on all the excess fiber and get less of the other nutrients. By juicing vegetables more than fruits, you reduce the sugars and maximize the other nutrients.

Forget juicing, Vita-mix all the way. You get it all, and it not mush like the dumb all mighty queen says.

You obviously never experienced a glass of raw, powerful, organic kale-carrot-green apple, turmeric, and/or parsley juice, eh (or similar potent recipe)? This is REAL medicine for longevity and increasing vitality, preventing inflammation and fighting all kinds of degenerative and inflammatory diseases. The taste is actually not that bad, especially with the green apple, but that's not the reason why people drink these powerful juices. They do it for the strong medicinal and nutritional benefits, and for cleansing the blood and body, not for taste. Complaining about the taste is for wimps who live off diet soda.
