@sewinggold Greetings from Canada! I just got the Juki 8100e and thankful to find your videos. Have mine set up but when I put the guard on, the machine was making loud sound when sewing. I realized my guard is flush against turning wheel so it was rubbing on that to remove the paint and cause friction. I am not sure how not make it that tight that it would be doing that because i tried to follow the instruction step by step. When i dont have belt on it doesnt have the loud sound
I'm trying to get the dopey belt guard off as I took off all the guards! I want better access to the bobbin-winding wheel as the dopey thing won't turn and squeaks! (cheap junk these are as the thread favors the left side even with the bobbin firmly planted on the post....my old 96-10 Singer had a much better one!) I got the back part off which was on mine, got the screw out from the front hole, but haven't gotten the screw from in back of the wheel out, as mine has a plastic cover on it that I can't get off....and then the one from the post out. Is this last one, in the tiny hole, a Philips screw as I can barely see it?
How come some hand wheels on DDL 8700’s are different? For example I have one like the one shown in this video where it looks pretty thin but I’ve seen others that have a thicker hand wheel that’s much easier to move
